Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Tarun, Now, Rahu rules elephants. Parasara says that Jupiter indicates INDRA the King of the Deva's. He rides the King of the elephants called Airavata. Jyotish connects elephants with Jupiter (Gaja). I wonder about the logic of the Lal Kitab. Lal Kitab also refuses to accept the existence of the Lagna and all people born in a span of about 2-3 days have exactly similar fortunes. Of course thee are good things that the Yavanas have given. I repeat the advise of kalyan Verma (Saravali): Be casreful in weighing and using this knowledge of the Yavanas. If it clashes with the foundations of Jyotish, leave it. Guest guest
Dear Mr Tarun Chopra, Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I was infact subscribing to TOI. . I would put an end to that and for other newspapers without elephant logo of course! . I am surprised though at your suggestion on newspapers as I am sure not many would have given it a thought at such a detail. Thanks once again Best regards sriram nayak Chopra Tarun wrote: > --- Chopra Tarun <astrotarun wrote: > > Dear Sriram Nayak, > > > > A remedy for you, and this will solve your problem > > remove all pictures of Elephants from home as lal > > kitab says elephants are Rahu. Guest guest
Holy Helsinki Tarun Chopras suggestion had me greatly relieved when I nearly laughed my brains off...... Elephants OK.... Times of India ? .....Whoa... This had to be the most seriously delivered punchline after Tarzan's "Who greased the vines"...... Still laughing.... and also thankful for the depth of Shri Chopra.... Guest guest
It is not reading of a newspaper that is forbidden as much as not to have elephant symbols around you for a combination of Rahu posited in 11th as per Lal Kitab. Now if you ask me , I have seen Lal Kitab remedies defy logic in many cases, but have proved extremely successful in many of the lives I have seen around me. I am not saying that they are illogical , but work from a very different perspective far drawn out of the traditional Astrology. In any case this is my opinion . regards sriram nayak Manoj Kumar wrote: > I am surprised to note that even the brand of news > paper one reads can be found out from one's Horoscope. > Is it not stretching astrology too far and strange > that it would work as a remedy. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, I have read Lal Kitab. In Lal Kitab, Rahu has been called Elephant. Lal Kitab originated in Punjab. And I have often been told that its remedies work fine but I could not find any predictive tool in it. Moreover, the progression method that is used is again something. My question is that there may be different methods of predicting things...but what has it to do with stopping reading a particular news paper. I did not find any newspaper in the entire Lal Kitab. "Haathi baitha takhat par to takhat charmarane laga..." is one farman of Lal Kitab where Rahu becomes an elephant. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay rath ji, I have my own style, I use my own methods of predictions and my remedies are unique, which I have learnt from my experience. I don’t want to see what the books says, all says to use Lahiri’s Ayanamsha I use my own which is 11 degree 2 seconds away from Lahiri’s. I have been trying to ask about my marriage from you and posted my details personally but you did not got the time to see never mind it happens, I was sure before leaving ketu from Sagittarius I will be getting married now I am getting married on sixth February. I still believe that ketu is their in Sagittarius and not in Scorpio, yes it is not logic because it is said Rahu and ketu move in opposite direction exactly same degree but I believe that ketu follows rahu so it takes some time to come in a line if there is circle a moving body will take time to catch that he follows and I believe there is around seven degree difference between Rahu and ketu degree. I am predicting by that only, I keep rahu in Taurus and ketu in Sagittarius while making the horary chart. Let the other people do what they want to do I don’t care I am not a teacher I am a professional astrologer and earn money from it. But not demanding if only a persons want to pay me and he is satisfied from my service. And by doing this I am doing very well from last five years. So its depends on all who want to consider rahu as elephant or Jupiter as elephant I will not get involved in this. Let the light guide us all With best wishes Tarun Chopra --- Sanjay Rath <daivagyna wrote: > > Om Gurave Namah > Dear Tarun, > Now, Rahu rules elephants. Guest guest
Om Gurave NamahDear Tarun ji, I am sorry if I did not respond to a mail on this. There are many others who I have not responded to because of various reasons, more personal than anything else. You should follow what you believe. That is the essence of the teachings of Dattatreya. However, this is the first time I have heard that Ketu is not opposite Rahu. I admit it did leave me a bit shocked, but then everyone is entitled to their opinions. As you said, I join in your prayer - May His Light Guide. "so.ahaMsa"- Nice name of the Sun God. Ganesha prayed with this name. Guest guest
Om Gurave NamahDear Manoj You are right to some extent. But I did find some portions useful in understanding political astrology, especially those related to 'Takat' pr the throne. I never talked of newspapers. Yavanas were the foreign invaders like the Yavanas who destroyed the Sun temple at Konarak. Although some day it just fell down with time! I can't imagine why it was so selective in falling down only at the prayer hall leaving everything else intact. In the present context, Punjab has faced the brunt of the moslem invasions and have still adhered to their culture. Incredible. Such faith is rare. The Lal Kitab speaks of a very low level of astrological knowledge and to my mind, this does not do justice to the great Punjab. In fact Punjab has produced such stalwar astrologers like Pandit Hardayala. I am giving the extract from the Bhai Balaji Janam Sakhi as translated by Manpreet Singh Gambhir. ------------- Pundit Harday˜la asked to see the child. The mother protest was over ruled by his insistence and his assurance that the exposure would do no harm to the newborn. As the child was brought out in his swaddling clothes, the Pundit paid homage to the child with folded hands and told BhaŸ k˜l¨ that he will come back after thirteen days to give the child a name. Pundit came to BhaŸ k˜l¨’s house on the 13th day and named the child ‘Nanak Nirankari’. Hearing this BhaŸ k˜l¨ protested that the name is both Hindu and Turkish. To this Pundit ji said that the child is a great saint like none other and both Hindus and Turks will reverence him; his name will become known on earth and in heaven The ocean will give him way, so will earth and skies. He will worship only one formless lord and teach others to do so. He will have divine knowledge and will recognize the efforts of all. He further said, that nine Naths, Eighty four Siddhs, Fifty two Virs, Sixty four Yoginis, Bhut Pret (ghosts), Demi Gods, Rishi Muni will obey him. He expressed grief that he himself may not live to see the glory of the child.Commentary: Guru Nanak dev ji’s horoscope has a strong Jupiter in Lagna which indicates the he would be influenced by Jupiter in all his deeds. Jupiter rules ˜k˜þa tatva [tatva means basic element and Aakash tatva means Ether], a tatva that binds all other tatvas. Thus Jupiter binds or brings things together and hence Pundit Harday˜la stated that Guru Nanak Dev ji would be equally reverenced by both Hindus and Turks. Pundit ji named the child ‘Nanak’ and said that he would be very famous. The starting letter ‘Na’ is the ˜k˜þa tatva akshara of Jupiter’s group of five letters, showing that the Pundit must was well versed with Parasara’s principles of naming a child based on the strongest planet in the chart. The horoscope indicates that Arudha Lagna (AL) is in Scorpio and exalted Moon is in 7th from it. Jupiter or Moon in Arudha Lagna or 7th from it gives undying fame just as Jupiter in the 1st or 7th house gives a name that lives beyond death. Moon indicates fame because of mass (people) following. The name ‘Nanak’ begins with alphabet ‘na’, which belongs to Scorpio as per the (hoda chakra), identical to Guru ji’s Arudha Lagna. Thus name Nanak would bring fame to Guru ji. According to Katapayadi Varga, name Nanak maps to Cancer, which is the twelfth house, related to emancipation and is also in trines to Arudha Lagna. Cancer is the sign of exaltation of Jupiter and the most fruitful sign of the zodiac. It is the only sign capable of destroying the evils of Shakti Yoga (as indicated by Jaimini) and shows a great soul who will reform many evil doers. The impact of the name from Lagna is seen for the influence it will have on the life of the native and here it is the fourth house from lagna i.e. Scorpio. This is the anchor of the Moksha Trikona, houses the Atmakaraka mercury and lagna Lord and Devata Karaka (Guru) Sun which is also the lagna Lord showing that Guru Nanak Devji would be the Guru himself. Thus the name given by Pundit ji indicates the life that Guru ji was to live. Pundit Harday˜la made other predictions like Guru ji would worship and preach the formless lord, would have divine knowledge and Naths, siddhs, etc. would obey him. ----------- Look at the level of Jyotish knowledge in the Punjab. It is horrendos to suggest that these brilliant people suddenly disappeared and accept such other works with low level of knowledge as representative of the Jyotish Vidya from Punjab. This very Punjab which has so meticulously followed the Suklanta Maasa method cannot be the (dis)credited with such other lower level works. Just see the kind of predictions made, and that too on seeing a baby's chart! Manoj, I am unable to understand the reference to newspaper? I am giving the extract from the Bhai Balaji Janam Sakhi as translated by Manpreet Singh Gambhir. > ------------- > Pundit Harday˜la asked to see the child. > Pundit came to BhaŸ k˜l¨'s house on the 13th day and named the child `Nanak Nirankari'. He expressed grief that he himself may not live to see the glory of the child.Commentary: Guru Nanak dev ji's horoscope has a strong Jupiter in Lagna which indicates the he would be influenced by Jupiter in all his deeds. > > Pundit ji named the child `Nanak' and said that he would be very famous. The starting letter `Na' is the ˜k˜þa tatva akshara of Jupiter's group of five letters, showing that the Pundit must was well versed with Parasara's principles of naming a child based on the strongest planet in the chart. The name `Nanak' begins with alphabet `na', which belongs to Scorpio as per the (hoda chakra), identical to Guru ji's Arudha Lagna. > > - ---------- > Look at the level of Jyotish knowledge in the Punjab. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, I think, you did not understand my message fully. I never said you talked about newspapers. I only said that Lal Kitab has its origin in Punjab and Punjab has not only produced great astrologers it had a great tradition of Saints and Sufis. The many saints/traditions which originated in Punjab flourished in eastern India. I had just quoted that couplet to show that Lal Kitab does equate Rahu as an Elephant. Thats all. On Lal Kitab's predictive ability, I too have my doubts but have heard many people talking that its remedies do work well. That was just I had wanted to say. Manoj Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
