My introduction, My experiences and my question to the learned group seeking help.Please read at your convenient time and give my your valued feedback: ------- My name is Sriram Nayak, am an Amateur in Astrology and have been practicing it for the last 7-8 years. I have just got enrolled to the GJ list and found the level of interaction to be of a very high level and is very informative and is blessed, what with the Supreme Lords names being attached, thus showing a group with the right credentials to interact with, share and grow along. With the Lords blessings, I had the fortune to delve deep into the Shastras, Siddhantas, the scientific understanding of the rituals etc , which have made to stand alongside great Devotees like your good selves in this group and God willing could be the area of my contributions to this group. ------- I wasn't into serious Astrological studies until , not long ago, I had the fortune to meet an industrialist , who in fact approached me for the payments to be received from our company to which his industry used to supply. Our common friend brought us quickly to the common field of interest; Astrology. His simple appearance made me to not pay attention initially, but then I was awestruck at his abilities to tell many points precisely without any information other than my name and nakshatra. Though I have had the fortune of meeting many Astrologers, I can say with confidence that I haven't seen anybody with this precise skills. I also learnt later on that many Top Astrologers in India used to get his opinion on certain matters and the most amazing thing was that even his neighbour didn't know that he was an astrologer!! He was well known in the Capital of the state more than in his own city!! Even now , whenever I take him to meet my friends etc, he within minutes leaves people dumbfounded with accurate information including giving numbers like money they have within their suitcases , money spent on the house, the hike percentage obtained etc.. He has acquired Siddhi in this Field and he says no books written so far on prediction skills in Astrology will give you these skills. I am lucky that he said that I would be initiated into this, but only at an "appropriate" time as said by him. He being a devotee of the Lord Krishna gives an added feeling of being in the "right place". He is presently staying in Hospet, Karnataka, India and would be shifting to Bangalore very soon. I would love to introduce him to this esteemed Goravani Jyotish group. By the bye , his name is Sriram Mulgund (SM) ----------- Ah , now coming back to why i am reaching out to you.... The expertise that I was in this group though tempts me to put forth the Dilemma that I am in and seek solution from your good selves. I do ask SM but tentatively and in general, and as I consider him my Guru, I would never ask questions which are self serving as I wish to portray a selfless front though I get tempted on occasions. So here are my Birth details, for your kind considerations: DOB: 23-11-1967 Time : 21.32 Hrs Place: Hubli ( Karnataka ) Latitude: 13.00N Longitude: 77.35 E Lagna/ Planets---Navamsha House Degree Lagna Asc---3 Mithuna 29:57:46 Chandra ---10 Karka 20:43:43 Guru ---4 Simha 11:8:30 Shukra ---4 Kanya 21:16:52 Budha ---12 Tula 19:4:11 Ketu---7 Tula 2:37:4 Surya---6 Vrischika 7:15:56 Mangala---10 Makara 0:18:48 Shani---7 Tula 12:27:17 Rahu---1 Mesha 2:37:4 I am in Shukra Mahadasha and Budha bhukti, starting 18th Sep 2002.Shukra dasha ending on 18th Sep 2006. Following are my questions: I am a Chartered Accountant.I am in a very good MNC presently in the finance department. Owing to a lot of changes, the Finance operations are moving to the center. There is no threat of a job for me. But as CA's could get into both finance fields and the Software field ( technical ) as consultants, I am standing at a juncture where I have to choose between one. I am now getting attracted at this age towards the Technical side. I am feeling more comfortable doing technical things than Finance related stuff. I have to make a choice within 15 days as to what I want and the Management is going to offer me those jobs. But I am not sure how it is going to be and reading my own horoscope makes me biased at times making it difficult. Please help me to get out of this dilemma. There is a parivartana yoga for the 4th and the 5th lords and I am running under their Main and sub dashes, what will it have in store for me? Is the Neecha bhanga ( venus) complete as Budha is in Kendra from Moon? What are the effects and when? Mr Raman in his book says that having Lagnas/planets at the borders is not favourable. What negativity is associated with it.? Any remedies for whatever shortcomings are there in the Horoscope? The dasha antardasha (5th/4th lords ) effect is beautifully coming to me as the Dasha naath Shukra is in Vrischika ( secret sciences, fear, ) with complete aspect from Jupiter (astrology, divinity, guru, prestige) giving me a sudden desire to delve deep into secret of shastras hidden meanings, vicinity of my Guru,offer of a prestigious post, suddenly staying alone in a remote place ( saturn: sade sati ( got transferred on 24th July 02 - the day after Sade sati started .... now temporarily not there) causing fear at night, Shukra being in 4th house, arriving of my mother to my house today, being lord of 5th ( issues) and budha being in 5th, am expecting a baby by April 03, money getting stuck ( 12th lord Venus again) etc 10 Lord Guru in 3rd , has my younger working with me in the same department, Moon being the 10 lord dispositor in Navamsha is in his own House being aspected by Mangala from 8th, giving me a late start in career (weak Chandra )..etc Certain events in my life: Got married on 9th July 2000 , got a great job offer from 1st Feb 01, changed place from Bangalore to Hyderabad on the 24th of July etc..
