life be peaceful? 2.What will be the nature of spouse ? 3.Will the marriage end

in separation ?

5.This native has strong interest in astrology, vedic sciences, philosophy and

also physics. He is a software engineer. He wants to pursue doctorate studies

Shrinivasan,

This chart shows promise in attaining good education

since the 5th house lord is in the 11th house with the

10th lord.

However, the Rahu/Moon conjunction is typically not

considered good for a stable personality. Since the

conjunction is also aspected by Saturn, it is more

likely that the individual might be struggling with

depression.

Notwithstanding the weakness above, a good career is

promised in the chart.

The Mars/Saturn conjunction means that the person more

likely will live outside of his/her country.

The same conjunction also means that the person has

kujadosha. The person needs to marry a spouse who has

kujadosha of the same strength to have a stable

marriage.

Dear Friend, Dissatisfaction in marital life, further studies and desired

professional opportunity will continue till Aug. 2004 as spouse lord Saturn is

weak by strength(infancy) and the placement of most malefic Moon is near the

most effective point of ascendant of 2nd house.,

Hi John and Narinder,

Thanks very much for your analysis. I have one more related question.

Which ayanamsa is better ? Krishnamurthy, Lahiri or Vakya(followed in

south india particularly Tamil nadu; it is said to be 'vakya' of

rishis)? The horoscope I sent was cast to vakya ayanamsa. Predictions

done using vakya ayanamsa match the person more accurately. For

example, in lahiri chart, Sun is aspected by Saturn thereby implying a

rift between father and son which is not the case with this

native(infact native reminds father in his behaviour); Even

Krishnamurthy ayanmsa has same disposition; In vakya Saturn does not

aspect Lagna lord Sun which makes Sun powerful. So, why is Vakya

ayanmsa different from all other ayanmsas to such a drastic extent?

Also how useful is Jamini system in predicting marital affairs (for

example Upapada lagna)?

Shrinivasan,

Most notable jyotishis, like KN Rao, use Lahiri

ayanamsha. As such, it is advisable to use it, unless

you have found other research to contradict the

experienced jyotishis.

Jaimini's system should be considered along with

Parara's principles. By doing so, you can get a

better perspective of the chart.
