Guest guest
Dear List members I'll post the next test no.74 when I receive it . Nicholas - Dymock Dymock Friday, December 27, 2002 4:39 PM TEST 73 - REPORT TEST 73 — REPORT Thirty-nine astrologers from around the world accepted the challenge of Test 73. Whatever their results they deserve to be commended for putting themselves on the line with their answers. The date of the father’s death was 30th March 1996. Any date within ten days was counted as correct—and there were three, with two others only fifteen days away. The correct answers came from — Pingo Mutombo (Czechoslovakia) — 26 March, 1996, Sjakkie Govers (Netherlands) — 20 March, 1996, Paul Langeveld (Netherlands) — 10 April, 1996 (11 days out but close enough). Almost as good were — Nicholas Francis (Australia) and Robert (Germany) who both arrived at 15 March, 1996 (only 15 days out). Pingo Mutombo based his answer on the Sidereal Lunar Return of March 14, 1996, which had the conjunction of the Sun, Saturn and Mars in the 8th House. (Apparently Transits decided the choice of 20 March 1996.) Sjakkie Govers decided first that the 38th Harmonic, covering the period from 14th March 1996 – 14th March 1997 revealed the death. The date 20 March 1996 was determined from Solar Return Chart by Directing the MC (17Ge31) to the square of Sun, Mars and Saturn at the rate of 1° = 1 day. Paul Langeveld decided on the year 14 March 1996—14 March 1997 from the Age Harmonic, then looked at the Lunar Returns and decided on the date 10 April 1996, from the Lunar Return of that date which had a number of relevant Aspects. Nicholas and Robert both used Vedic Astrology. Nicholas found Mars closing in on the natal Sun on 15 March 1996. Robert found Transits in the Dasha Period suggesting 15th March 1996. Methods used by the 39 respondents were: Vedic 12, Uranian 4, Chinese 2, Profections 2. The others used conventional Western methods (Secondary and/or Tertiary Progressions and Transits) mostly with an admixture of Solar Returns Lunar Returns, Age Harmonics, Lunations or Eclipses. The method was not stated in 2 cases. Countries represented were Thailand 5, Netherlands 4, France 4, Germany 3, Canada 3, Australia 3, USA 2, Czechoslovakia 2, UK 1, Singapore 1, New Zealand 1, Italy 1, Belgium 1, Portugal 1, Coatia 1, Slovenia 1, Taiwan 1. Others were not stated. Another Test will be forthcoming in January. Regards to all, Dymock Brose, Adelaide, Australia, 27 Dec 2002.
