Guest guest
Dear List. The talk about Sade-sati is heavensent personally. After the loss of my father, daughter, older sister and mother, from 93 to 2001, I was in deep despair and depression. at times the grief and sadness in our hearts and home was so deep that the only sound you heard were the subdued chirps of the birds. one of the parakeets flew away and returned after three and a half days. what saved my sanity was the state of my son, listening/reciting Hanuman Chalisa, my 2 parakeets and the discovery out of the blue of Das, this list and a new found interest in vedic astrology. I plant trees like crazy in the neighborhood and love working barehands in the garden. I still give in to deep despair, always on a Friday evening and Saturday. Das' suggestion about getting rid of old stuff is revealing. I have not been able to do that nor organize all the old photos. But I feel stronger and ready to face all the curve balls of life yet to come.
Guest guest
Dear Siranjani It is nice to hear that this list has brought you solace in what has been an extraordinarily different period . It is sometimes a help to remember that our departed loved ones would ask us to live our lives to the fullest if they were able to communicate with us . The spiritual practises are helpful to you and your family . Kind regards Nicholas - sriranjani iyer gjlist Thursday, November 28, 2002 8:11 AM [GJ] Saturn. Dear List. Guest guest
Hello Tarun, You have given fantastic explaination on Saturn and its effect. I want to know such details for all the planets if u can give me some knowledge spending your valuable time. Your explaination was completly logical, but certain things always confuse me. You want to convey that each planet controls their given area and it does not allow any person to go out of boundries drawn by them right ? Does it mean that any planet bihaves similar for each person or it depends on position in individuals horoscope. If it is different for other then there must be some remedies to change/improve this effect. If it is true then I want to know about that. See, I have read lots of book on properties and effect of planets and horoscope, but nobody speak about remedies. If I come to know that any planet is creating nagative effect in my life then it is not sufficient for me(for anyone). If remedies are not there then that knowledge is meaningless. So, I want to know your thoughts on this. If u can spend little time for me. then I want to know following things. (1) Each planets area and way of funtioning in human life. (2) Is it true that Jupiter & Venus are always good for everyone and Saturn and Mars are always bad for everyone ? (3) Is there in working remedies for reducing nagative effect of planets I want to help people coming out from their problems by astrologycal remedies and I also want to help my self. But I still could not get any proven and working method. I will be highly oblidge if u will reply to this mail, thanking you regards - Tushar
Guest guest
Tushur, I believe the essential remedy is contained in the message itself, awareness. Whenever some event is unfolding it is due to the influence of a graha. When we stop identifying ourselves with the event and see it as just an event, "I got into a big fight with my spouse, oh Mars must be acting up",then we are not attached to the event and we avoid any entaglements (stress, doubt, craving, aversion,etc..). The power of consciousness itself is the most powerful remedy. However your clients may not understand this and more convential remedies may be in order. I found Levacy's Beneath a Vedic Sky to be very helpful for beginners, like me, to be able to give basic remedies. Also, if you know which planet is afflicted you can go to www.ammachi.org and can have a planetary puja done. Hope this helps Andy
