Guest guest
To speak about India's social problems that affect some of it's people, as a side line to a discussion of the merits of subtle remedies discussed in it's classical Jyotish books, is like saying my software may not be good because there are poor and hungy descendents of slaves in Louisiana today. Jyotish is something taught in ancient books from India. India's modern situation is not the subject of this list, nor was it caused by Parashara, the book, Jyotish, these teachings, this subject. India has a preserved ancient culture, and yet is operating as a country amongst modernized nations. This is not easy, at all, and the gradual change over takes a long time. Nobody knows for sure who is better. Just as, nobody can say for sure that Christians are better than ancient Celtic pagans. The subtle remedies are a part of a subtle or shamanistic system of understanding which in it's fullness and correct context are valid. We are dealing with ancient things in a modern time. It takes some amount of intellectual finery to do this. This is not plumbing or painting. Subtlety and graciousness is required, as well as a view into very subtle dimensions of human consciousness.
