Fixing the continuity

When someone who is a parent is selfish in a materialistic modality, ie,

putting things or their own wishes, desires, sensual matters, before and

above their ancestral culture, and the needs spiritually of their children

and parents, they make a break with the continuity, and pain begins, bad

enters.

Their children then have a hard time loving them, honoring them, and this

leaves the children without the continuity.

This has now become widespread on Earth.

The age of travel and ease of material living has brought about much

breakage in family structure, cultural continuity, the respect for the

elders living and crossed over, respect for death.

This is the age where we tried to "buck death" and live "only in life" and

"find happiness through material objects and endevours" at the cost of

"continuing with spirituality like our ancestors".

This break with the continuity is devastating our abilities to handle the

basic spiritual facts of life such as birth, death, disease and old age, and

so hence we have birth control, abortion, rampant use of medications, and

senility, alzheimers, and other internal methods of avoiding death or

knowledge of death.

Fixing this problem requires forgvieness of the breakers of the traditions,

and becoming a real player in the continuity.

Just some thoughts.
