Guest guest
Hi Gordon, I disgaree with you totally on the issue of modern Western Astrology, and its current focus. Unlesss you mean the Sun Sign stuff you find in the major bookstores, I can tell you for a fact that modern WA is replete with examples of richness, sensitivity and insight. I have to ask you, exactly how much modern Western Astrology do you know? How many of the leading authors in the field have you read? Liz Greene? Jeff Green? Noel Tyl? Dane Rudhyar? Steve Forrest? Have you read any of the works of these people? If so, what so you about them? Your issues with my bringing up Ben Affleck is also off-center - the grand point I was making was, that his current circumstance, one of romance, love, sex and marriage, is central and dominant to all that we as AStrologers, Western, Vedic or otherwise, do. It is estimated that some 80% of an Astrologer's clientele will have concerns about love, sex and marriage more than any other, unless that Astrologer specializes in some other area, like Horary or Financial Astrology. If that is the case, and I would say in my humble opinion that it is, then Mr. Affleck's case is hardly sophmoric - just think of the millions of people, with little to no guidance of any kind let alone Astrological, making the same mistakes Mr. Affleck is about to make. Divorce courts in the USA are rife of examples like these; of the hundreds of thousands of couples that will walk down the aisle in this country in a few days (in America, most marriages take place on Saturday, the WORST day of the week!), we know right off the bat that half of them will split up within 5 years if not sooner. My point was that, with an expanded view and understanding of what the Sages brought us, we can be of better service to Humankind. I would be most interested in hearing what you would have to say to Mr. Affleck's horoscope were you to sit down him. Guest guest
Well I have not got time to reply - off to India. You mentioned Kuja Dosha - well Mars is the problem of course. He is too immature to engage in marriage. If you want to deal with the causes rather than the effects of his lack of ability in this regard, then I suggest taking a different approach. Anyway, sorry no time to discuss now - back after ten days. Regards Gordon
