Guest guest
All, Well, it appears that Sharon's problems have just gotten about as big as he is: today it was reported that the Labor Party's heads have decided to leave his government in Israel. This is a significant blow to Sharon, because the LP was really the only voice of reason in the whole Palestinian-Israeli conflict. News reports state that there is a the likelihood of more hardliners, possibly coming from the the conservative Likud Party, filling the void that the Labor Party has created. This would almost certainly escalate tensions in the region - and - this would also threaten even more Sharon's politcal future. Benjamin Netanyahu, Israe's former PM, is in the hunt for a return to power. And, of course, there is the USA, putting even more pressure on Sharon to cool things out with the PLO because the US wants to move on Iraq. Sometime back, a couple of years ago, I looked at Sharon's chart and thought two things: 1. The high probability of him being booted from Office, possibly forcibly and... 2. The very strong chance of ill health for Sharon. Back in the Summer, when Arafat was virtually a prisoner in his own compound, specualtion was running high on whether he would be removed from power. After looking at his chart, I felt confident, and I still feel this way, that Arafat WILL be voted back into power this coming Jan, AND it is SHARON that will have to watch his back. Sharon's history bears out the fact that he has NEVER been a man of peace; indeed, he has become known as "The Bulldozer" because of his rampant approval of the building of Jewish settlements in the West Bank and Gaza, and as well, for his zeal in destroying Palestinian homes, running them over with, guess what -a bulldozer. Sharon's horoscopes reveal much about this man's warring nature. His Vedic chart features an exalted Mars, when viewed from the perspective of the Moon, forms a Ruchaka Yoga. This combination is known for giving warlike tendencies, and many warlords and the like have it. Adolf Hitler, had it. Sharon also has the Moon in Taurus, in the star of Krittika. Again, we see the warlike tendencies coming to the fore, as Krittika's symbol is the blade and is known for its warmongering ways. The Moon in Taurus resists like all get out the idea of change; the symbolism of the "bulldozer" fits indeed. Note the Paravartana Yoga (mutual reception) between Mars and Saturn, creating a link between the two. This heightens even more Sharon's warlike ways. And, note how these two planets form a Papakatari Yoga around his 10 house of career and political power; if either of these planets are running their operational periods, it could spell trouble for his tenure. Sharon also has another important combination, one that has helped him in the political arena, and that is the Hamsa Yoga, which is formed whenever the planet Jupiter is in its own or exalted sign while at the same time it is in an angle from the Asc or the Moon. Sharon's Jupiter so close to the Asc, along with his Moon being in Taurus, would account for his significant weight. Note how they hem in the 2 house of the mouth and eating, and note also how 2 lord Mars is exalted (a liking for spicy, hot foods) and is associated with Venus (Moon, Venus and Jupiter all represent fatty, rich foods). Sharon came into power in early 2000 or so, if memory serves; at the time, he was running the Dasa of Rahu, sub period of Mercury. He came in as a direct result of the problem with Palestinian terrorist groups and suicide bombers (both of whom are represented by Rahu). Sharon's Moon in Taurus association with Rahu shows that he has spent the better part of his life dealing with this issue. He is no stranger to it. And, this same combination can also show that he may have obsessive tendencies when it comes to he how handles this situation. But it gets deeper - note now that Sharon is in the sub period of Ketu in the major period of Rahu. Whenever the Nodes run both their major and minor periods at the same time, it is perhaps the most difficult Dasa-pair to manage, because of what they inherently represent. This Dasa period has seen the rise in both Palestinian terrorist activity as well as the death toll on both sides rise - with no end in sight. We see that the Ketu sub period will extend well into 2003, finally ending in Aug 2003, when the sub period of Venus takes over. The current major/minor period of Rahu/Ketu also enflames the Moon-Saturn mutual aspect that Sharon has, again symbolizing his sanctioning of the building of Jewish settlements while at the same time, also sanctioning the destruction of the infrastructure of the Palestinian Authority. These actions have set off both the Islamic World, as well as the Western World - the United States is Israel's lone ally. Note also that Sharon is undergoing Sade Sati. The last politician that underwent such a situation was Bill Clinton, and he nearly lost his job under it. Sade Sati periods almost always suggest some sort of major loss in some way. And note too, the transit of Rahu and Ketu, returning to its natal positions in the chart. These combinations do not augur well for both Sharon's political longevity nor his health. The transit of Jupiter, aspecting the Asc and its natal position, can help things - and, if Sharon is smart, he can use the symbolism of Jupiter to bring higher mindedness, peace and justice to the current issues of the Conflict. But, again, Sharon's history has shown that he is not inclined towards peace making. I say that Sharon's Presidency is in its last days. What do you think? Salaam, Mu ===== Mu'Min M.
