Guest guest
Namaste Listmembers, Greetings Mu Min, Nice to have you back on board!. I was pleased to read your honest statement concerning endemic sexual abuse of women. As this state of affairs is ongoing, I feel counselling is merely a bandaid. The Women's Liberation Movement certainly bought this issue to the light of day. You may find 'The War Against Women' by Marilyn French an interesting read. I am concerned and saddened that male rape, emasculation and bastardisation does not receive the same priority. Male rape being only confined to jails, Catholic students and the odd isolated case is a myth. It is seething below the surface on all levels of society. Sexual abuse is used by men, against men, to maintain the pecking order; to punish and cower. Men face even greater hurdles of social condemnation and humiliation imposed by our culture, to actually 'come out' and raise awareness. It is a cruel and painful 'secret' that a large majority of men carry. I encourage and look forward to Men's Revolution!. The sooner this rampant brutality is exposed, the sooner we can start healing towards true social justice. Sincerely, Ann.
