Censored Message: nodal aspects

Dear List Members

A couple of weeks ago the question of nodal aspects came up .In this it was

originally claimed that nodal aspects were not part of Parasara Jyotish .

This text addresses that point . This text was originally sent to

jyotishvidya group but was censored by the moderator .Censorship is a common

tool in totalitarian states and it is surprising that it is has eneterd the

community of jyotishis who I thought believed in freedom of speech and

thinking .I am sorry to cross post but I am concerned that both sides of the

argument had missed an important point .

Dear Wendy

I think I can resolve the question of nodal aspects to everyone's

satisfaction .On Page 39 of Sarvath Cintamini J N Bhasin quotes

the BPHS

with edition ,chapter and text where sage Parasara states that

Rahu casts aspects like Jupiter i.e 5th ,7th and 9th .So using nodal aspects

is a part of Parasara Jyotish Further comments on your post follow

Anne's COMMENT I don't have Sateesh's chart but in Nicholas' chart

Jupiter is with Saturn that rules the 5th and 6th for Virgos .However as

Saturn is

placed in the 5th house so will act primarily as functionally

benefic .This

is according to Mantrsevara in Phala Dapeeka when a planet has

rulership of a dusthana and a non dusthana and is placed in it's non

dusthana

it will act

according to its non dusthana Lordship .So Saturn in 5 is good for

Virgos

..Saturn will act like the 5th Lord in association with Jupiter not

the 6th

..This is pretty basic jyotish .

The Saturn Jupiter conjunction is aspected by 9th Lord Venus so it

is very good for dharma,Guru and higher knowledge .

 

Don't worry Nicholas Jupiter receives plenty of cancellation ofdebiliatation

..More important than Jupiter for evaluating Dharma

are the

trinal Lords .Nicholas has 1 in 1 ,5 in 5 and 9 in 11 aspecting

5th house

and receiving aspect of RajaYoga 4th and 5th in 5 .In Navamsa the

5th is in

1 and the 1st and 9th form a Raja Yoga in 9 .So of the 6 dharmic

trinal Lords in Rasi and Navamsa 5 are placed in dharmic trinal houses .5

out of 6 is pretty good but you could do better Nicholas :-)

Anne's comment : Nicholas' Mercury is extremely powerful being both

because you could not address Nicholas' arguments you are engaging

in argument ad hominem i.e attacking the person rather than the

argument.In

high school I was taught that this is a logical fallacy and a sure sign

someone is losing the argument . T he greatest scholar of Jyotish

in the

world is Pandit Sanjay Rath who uses nodal aspects . I think you

owe them

both an an apology because I do not recall them attacking you on

this

conference or any other jyotish conference I have d too .

contributions. And then not even what he has written but his

chart . I remember a while back Wendy you said that people should not be

attacked on their charts when did you change your mind ?
