Guest guest
I need to clear my conscience in public about some things I've brought up and hammered on, which has changed in me lately, and since I feel much better, I also know in kind, that where I'm at is better, and I need to clear my public word, and I'll be quick, because I'm sorry about the volume a wee bit as well. I've mentioned race alot. This was in my own search for meaning in my own ancestral background. My search, reading, led me to many startling findings. I freaked out, as I think any of us would. I don't think I'm different or unique, just that I did alot of reading most of us don't ever touch. Covering Celts and many other groups in ancient times. It's a bit heavy. But I've matured on it. I want to say this now and drop it: Every ancient peoples has things to be proud of, and things which are perhaps best described as outdated. When trying to find pride, one has to also eat some humble pie, in that, there's simply some things within every ancient culture which no longer apply in the world we're in today. Because of how we've modernized, the whole world, we simply cannot carry on many of our various ancient traditions and beliefs. They can be immortalized in literary memory, and kept that way, but practicing them is out of the question, since many things included too much brutality and slavery, which we are simply beyond, all of us. There was beliefs that went with those times which no longer apply as well. So we all have to eat some humble pie if we go to identify that way. It's better not to. It's an unnecessary mental burden that simply no longer matters. At the same time, each ancient peoples has valueable gifts of culture that should never be lost, and those things we are sharing, and should continue to keep alive, for they simply are too good to lose. This is a responsibility, as well as either fun, noble, exilerating, or flat out cool. This includes mainly arts and sciences. The arts are vast, from music to food to dance to art and all the non-agressive beliefs and symbologies that go with them. The sciences include astrology, farming, philosophies, religions, medical systems, living systems, and so many other cultural items too numerous to talk about fully. I've taken to a simple thought: Background ancestral culture starts as a private issue now. That's where it sits. It's become private, and the social climate is better off ignoring it. This is the way it has to be in multi cultural or multi racial settings already everywhere. People are trying to treat each other equally, and this has to be refined more, but it's good. To understand Celt, is not really necessary for anyone who isn't one, or who doesn't need to. It's not necessary to blast it. It itself has no reason to do that. Also, "Celt" in particular means "mystery", and there's a reason for that. It's a pretty intimite culture, not easily understood by anyone. It's alot like South America's ancient peoples, and Africa's, and other places which are harder for the modern Western mind to wrap around. It's very indiginous and ancient. It can come off pretty shocking. For Celts themselves, like Irish, to reckon with ancestral voices, is something they have to do. Others do not. I've realized this. It's a private issue. The Celtic offerings of art and music are there for all and they are spreading around, and there's nothing wrong with that. Nobody's preaching anything really, and so it is in the matured understanding. Some may venture into Celtic spirituality, which is only for a few these days. This may grow, but still, there's no need for it to blast itself. It's a choice and a need you either are into or you're not. It's there if you need it. It has no need to spread itself, despite the feelings some/we may have about it's value. It's deepest feelings are such that they are very surrendered to the will and flow of the greater, not any individual ego. It itself has no agenda, because it's reflective by nature, lunar. I wish therefore to say, that I take back any agressive spreading I did of it or Hindusim. I am mellowed against history now. I live in the now. I live here and now with you, all of you, honoring our diversity fully, equally. We can all partake in anything from anywhere which allows us to, as Krishna allows us to know him, and Mohamed, and Jesus, and Celtic beliefs, African, Asian, whatever, all of them. They all offer gifts. Taking the good is our right. We honor the world and improve it as we do. Bless you all, and please forgive me where I made mistakes, was oppressive or judgemental, for these last two I'm especially mournful of my own errors and apologetic to whomsoever I offended.
