Guest guest
This is all about America's boots, based in Christian thought, confronting it's own reflection in Islamic boots. Christianity says "care for all", and we're not doing it as a country, but we've been blessed and should, but we're not. The disenfranchised child, the muslim, is reacting. I can understand. When I look at the overall message of all of this, I see simply that we are being forced to own up to our own legacy, that of caring and giving charity to the poor, but mainly, showing genuine care for others. Before we decided to take their oil, they were poor by comparison. All the wealth of the mideast, the bulk of it, comes from that we take from them. Bin Laden knows this. It's a key point. We take from them. If it were not so, we would dig up all our own oil, which we say is "too expensive". Many oil wells in America sit idle, unused, while we drain their fields because "it's cheaper", just as slaves are cheaper. We also do the same in other places, using labor and goods which are "cheaper". I myself have a problem with foreign cheap labor. I don't use it. I could have programming done in India for less, but I won't. I realize the imbalances and pollution this causes. People have to stand on their own, countries too. Now we have so many professional Indians who just want to come here, other countries too, causing brain drain there. The reason for WWII in the pacific was such dependency, and it's still there. Without America, Japan's economy is over. This is not good. On another more important note: The morality and ethics of religion are the world over standing against gross materialism. Spirituality and religion are against the wanton ways of American business. By allowing ourselves to be that way, total business mavens without constraints, we are being the most irreligious and unspiritual of all nations. This is true, and it's obvious, and it shows. Bin Laden and others are reacting to this. They are the holy warriors, and I understand this to a great degree. I am not for violence, but when we ignore the obvious for so long, violence is bound to begin. America is hated in many places, including Islamic countries, because it sells MTV to the world. We sell pornography and pedaphelia as young girls shaking their booties on TV, to everyone. We should not do so. This greatly offends the Islamic mind, and I understand. One Irish songwriter, Christy Moore, sings in "Natives": Only the very safe, can talk about wrong and right but of those who are forced to choose, some will choose to fight by the touch of a strangers hand, innocence turns to shame the spirit that dwealt within, then slips out in the rain I get it. I hope you do too. We are forcing them to choose between their religion and doing business with us. Since we are FORCING them to do business with us, some are choosing to fight. It's the voice of their religion attacking, nothing more. To speak of how to fight this war against Saddam and Laden is to talk after the real facts. Pres Bush is a puppet of materialism, to say the least and most obvious fact. Those like him who think like him are replications of all the worst leaders of world history. They are not spiritual, not giving, not caring, and are just the old form of the exploitive Anglo Saxxon mode, the take over and crush mentality. It has no feelings. GWB is the bad karma of America ripened into a boil head. When he pops, the world will be covered in puss and blood, as it's a really huge boil. We talk about him gassing "his own people". Look, what did we do to American Indians? What did we do to Hiroshima? What did we do in Nicaraqua, Africa, Phillipines, Asia, everywhere. Where have we not bombed and killed huge amounts of people in "clean up" and other such actions? Iraq pales by comparison in such exploits. Saddam/Laden have courage, that's all, to stand up for what many muslims feel worldwide- total anger at the immorality and unspirituality of our nation as a whole. I have not watched TV or movies in years. I have not missed much. But this is the focus of our culture- television and "entertainment", which is always highly full of illicit sex, meaning, sex outside of religious norms, such as marriage. This is highly offensive to the Islamic ideal, and to our own Christian ideals, and to Hindu ideals, and so on. As a country, led by businessmen with no morals, we are incurring gobs of bad karma, and of course, the wrath of the religious on Earth. Strip Girls, college girls, in America, all over, get money from showing their bodies to men. They do not like these men, they "do it for the money". This is the basis of much of our business these days. Any good looking girl can earn lots of money showing her body, and many do it. Plastic tits are EVERYWHERE in Los Angeles, for example. This is the thing. We have FAKE motherhood going on. It's plastic, not real, and it's hurting the world. Dupont is a chemical company, and it sells FAKE TITS to our own girls. This is VERY WRONG by Gods standards, by Christian standards, Islamic standards, Hindu standards. Remove the fake. I do not condone violence, but saying that their terrorism is worse than ours is very wrong. We go in at night with Stealth bombers and wreak havoc wherever we like. Anyone involved in the creation of such planes, such weapons, and deploying them, servicing them, and all their relatives and relations, are all due a karmic debt as if they are terrorists. Imagine you are asleep with your children in Iraq, and suddenly there are explosions that kill your friends or family. Your own army can do nothing to prevent it. Nothing meets our martial superiority. So, they take to other measures. This is war, not terrorism, and it's a holy war, where they are fighting for religious principles more than we are, by far. I dare say we stand on the wrong side. If we paid them for their oil what we would have to pay ourselves for our own oil, then things would be quite different. We are not paying the proper price for what we take from the world, so the world is coming begging, and then ultimately, fighting. In America, you can buy coffee beans of course. In Eugene, some coffee costs more, and is labeled under a certain label, which states that the extra money goes to ensure that the farms for the beans, all located in South American countries like Columbia, are paid extra so that they can "do it right", ie, not underpay their workers, as is the norm. In South America, things are grown with sprays which are poisonous. Many workers there work all day in a rain cloud of poisons that we invented, and then outlawed in our own country. These workers are getting cancer and dieing in large numbers at early ages, but happy American's go on buying the produce. Again, it's IMMORAL business to blame. We are literally showing them how to die, for us, for our consumption, and providing the poisons, the profits, the incentive, everything. They have no choice. We have dismantled their natural cultures and economical systems by going in, like Rome, setting up dependecies, providing the means for the pain, then withdrawing to a safe distance, and letting them kill themselves for our cup of coffee. This is karma to the extreme. We should STOP IT. If you are such a businessman, it's up to YOU to make sure you do not do such things. The first point person is the main karmic bearer. Any businessperson who sets up such bad conduct, is seriously in karmic error and karmic debt. This is passed onto all his customers, you and me. This must come back eventually. Thus, I can say assuredly, that we are gassing many. We are slaughtering many innocents, every day, people who are poor, needy, and way beneath us in material pleasure, and we go on as if nothing is happening. This will come back. It's not terrorism when they send us poison in the mail, it's due karmic reward. At least Jyotishi's should see it this way. I cannot understand how a Jyotishi could be so insensitive as to think that America is under attack. It's not. It's under reward. This is due reward. GWB is leading us into more and worse karmic debt and awful karmic reward. He is our enemy. If I were him, I would ask, everyday, that everyone in America attend prayer services at Islamic temples, or in city squares, to make peace with Muslims worldwide, and then, to more important matters, go on to begin to visibly and really regulate our external business matters, ie, "foreign affairs", such that it is truly fair. Until you pay the full price for a thing, you still owe. If you think you don't, then it's called "bad karma waiting to come back at you". These are my opinions only, and subject to modification by further learning. I am ignorant of many things, so that matters and affects my thoughts. Thank you for your time. Peace on Earth is easy to achieve, but only if we are not selfish over others, our equals, our brothers. r
