I just too the book down, that I saw on the shelf

dusted it off, then read for myself

quatrains they're called, 4 pairs of lines

Nostradamas' works, a work for all times

 

Within it I found, found for myself

a verse in that book, that I found on the shelf

in a library near, where I lived on a hill

in Greenwich Englad, and it's likely there still

 

So in this one verse, see what it did say

is that for 500 years, nobody would say

much about him who was the jewel of his day

He would just kindof fade, just go away

 

Then of a sudden, so great a sound

would be heard, and sung, and spread all around

much would be taught, and happy indeed

it would make all of those, who took up his creed

 

Now this is all that great man wrote of,

this mystery person, and cause, from above

that for 500 years, no words would be said

then of a sudden, it came and was spread

 

So I thought to myself, put the book on the shelf,

turned and went, but a smile I sent,

out to the sky, and the birds up above

for I knew what he meant, and who he spoke of

 

I knew it for sure, and knew deep inside

one day I would speak it, nor more it to hide

that indeed the person that Nostradamus wrote of

was Sri Caitanya, the Bengali Peace Dove

 

Because he was born about 500 back,

from before the time that a man with a stack

of books about him, Sri Caitanya

came to New York, to teach Ananda

 

This man who came, was Abhay Caran,

Bhaktivedanta Swami to some,

he was the greatest man of his times

a leader in spirit, can't describe'im in rhymes

 

But surely he did make many a'know

of sri caitanya with the golden glow

and way back then, they used to say

that indeed he was, the "Jewel of their day"

 

So I think I know, for me I'm sure

that this is the meaning of this verse obscure

from Nostradamus, the man who's vision

of futures ahead, we find we're now livin'
