Guest guest
His Anxiety to Teach Us Was The Only Thing That Reached Us ----------------------------- I have a very good life on the subtle levels, that is, spiritual and mental, because of a number of factors, including my parents, society, the times, etc. One factor however, stands above all others, when I view my life in my normal prioritizations of appreciations, and that factor for me, literally set my mind free, and led me to all that is good, for me and kids, and everyone I know, including all of you. That factor, is that, in one man's mind in India in the 1940's and 50's, a duty calling set in so strongly, that even at a very late age, one man did what a great number of others would not, that is, dare to attempt to bring Gaudiya Vaisnavism in full to the West. Basically an impossibility for anyone, it was accomplished, by one. And my life, is totally overrun by the effects of his efforts. The connection he made between us and the deep jungles of Bengali Vaisnavism, is a contribution to Western cultural, scientific and spiritual development that is unparalleled in so many ways. I personally, cannot thank him enough. My life, everything good in it, comes in part, in large part, through his great anxiety to teach us, because it was so great, so strong, so powerful, it cut across the atlantic after clearing jungles of obstacles in India, reached new york, and stayed, like a large, huge, monstrous Trident of Wisdom and Knowledge hurled from India in 1965 straight at Downtown New York City, and which plunged deeplyinto the ground, not to be budged or moved in any way by anybody... Because it was that way, it is still there today, in Robert, in me, and New York City. It is him, who is the it, that I say was that way, he's the it, that hit, he's Abhay Caran Dey.
