neechbhanga for planets that are not debilitated......

Hello Group Members,

A lot has been written about how the debilitation of a planet can be

canceled and how under certain conditions such a combination can give

superlative results (neechbhanga rajyoga). In all this, the

underlying principle hinges on strengthening the debilitated planet

by giving srength to its dispositor etc. I don't want to go into the

details here, but I feel that neechbhanga refers to conditions that

strengthen the debilitated planet in certain ways.

My question is this: if the planet is not debilitated, but the

conditions listed under neechbhanga are satisfied, will it increase

the strength of the already "non-debilitated" planet even more? And

what about the case when the conditions of a "neechbhanga rajyoga"

are found in a non-debilitated planet?

As an example, suppose Mars is in Sagitarius in a Kendra, now suppose

Jupiter is also in (say, Gemini) in Kendra? Is this going to give a

superlative results because dispositor in a kendra cancels

debilitation?

Thanks for your help.

Siddharha.

Dear Sisshartha

Generally placement of a planet in good houses is a source of strength .For

an overall assessment all factors should be carefully weighed .

Superlative results generally come from good yogas of strong planets in

favourable dashas .Thus superlative results are not so common occurring

which makes sense because if they occurred easily they would not be

superlative ..

Hope this helps .

Om Namo Narayanaya,

Of course it does. Yet, do have in mind that dosha always remains, mostly on

living matters signified by the graha and its adhipatya. For example, neecha

lagnesh with neecha bhanga may give progress and respect, yet damage the

health. It is similar to a person who has lost a leg, and uses crutches to

walk (I hope that I used the right English word)

Such matters may be applied to non-debilitatied grahas. In the case you

mentioned, Jupiter will cooperate with Mars (parashara parasparas) towards

achieving their aim.

What you mentioned is a standard procedure of judging the strength of a

planet. Its dispositor must be strong. It will become strong when in high

dignity, kendra from lagna/chandra. If in dusthana or in low dignity, it will

decrease the strength of a graha it disposits.

Best wishes
