Guest guest
Actually, I did what I wanted to do, and I'm done, about Prabhupada that is. Robert, please note the love I also have for him. Thanks. Please note the positive things I said, about how he was placed here by Krishna, and I even compared him to Budha. Isn't that also "good", and not just "bad" of me? Anyway, I spoke my truths. I won't apologize. I did it for others Robert. So many people have laid there pains in my ears from the years, those in and outside of ISKCON, but about it, and his books, the effects on lives, I guess you haven't heard what I've heard and experienced. It's serious. I like what he did. I don't regret. Please remember that. Thanks. I won't carry this on. We both made out statements. That's fine. Thanks, Raghu
Guest guest
Dear Raghu, Contrition is good - it does not hurt anybody. It only shows your greatness. You are a great man, otherwise why would so many people to your list, or listen to what you have to say. Now you should do as Krsna advises, and teach by example. Show respect where respect is due, and give up this reckless habit of disparaging the character and quintessential magnificence of Prabhupada, and other great teachers and gurus. This whole discussion has been very painful for me. A hot fire still hovers in my crown chakra, and I awoke from sleep last night still in disbelief. I remember the great Pandava King Maharaja Pariksit in the 3rd Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam, who, at the onset of Kali-yuga, was touring his kingdom and saw a low-class man beating an innocent cow. Prior to Kali-yuga, this sort of atrocity was unheard of - simply unbelievable - that one could beat his own mother. Note there are 7 mothers as indicated in the shastras. Apart from the cow, one of them, is the wife of a Brahmana; and the Brahmana himself, is the most elevated of human beings, given that he carries the transcendent Truths of the Vedas to the masses of people. The Self-realized guru, is the highest order of Brahmana, and, like Jesus (who you also misunderstand), "sits at the right hand side of the father". Under ordinary circumstances, the King would have immediately slain such a disgraceful person who would beat the poor, defenseless cow. But he didn't, knowing that in Kali-yuga, practically every virtue, and every moral code, falls away like wisps in the wind, and that compassion now is higher that corporeal punishments. So, instead of killing the rogue (who personified Kali-yuga), the king instead banished him to exist wherever gold was hoarded, or in other words, to have to exist where there is no knowledge, no truth, no code of ethics or honor, only gross ignorance and materialism. To this day, Kali is alive and well, yet still residing in such places. Analogously, when someone defiles the self-realized souls, he is banished to those abodes wherein the light of day is hard to recognize, what then to speak of the Truth of life. Think about this, and do as you wish. But in the process, remember that this is a high-stakes game, and you could lose your shirt if you're not careful. Best wishes, and love to all, Robert ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Robert A.
