Guest guest
Jupiter rules both large and guidance. The reason is that the Jupiterian impulse is one of concern over provisions, both for now, and the future. This is one reason it's exalted in Cancer, the sign of provisions. Jupiter wants to teach others how to make sure they are safe, secure, provided for, etc., on both a material and subtle level, so that there now and futures are safe and secure. It's essentially a desire to see goodness in the form of security abound and be available to all. The Jupiterian impulse believes strongly in good guidance or education as a way of insuring that the entity can guide itself through life successfully for the fulfillment of being healthy, happy, etc. So one aspect of this personality type also is "wanting more". The Jupiterian impulse is there because of being concerned about things being nice, rather than awful. Not being satisfied is part of this. Wanting things to be really nice is also. Grandiosity, Pride, Arrogance, Largeness, are all traceable to Jupiter in charts easily, as is Law, Teaching, Religion, etc. Those who have strong Jupiters, like me, sometimes, as in my case, just feel that something is wrong and that research is required and guidance necessary, people are being misled, guidance must be given, books must be written, oh no, religion is wrong, and must be corrected, and so on. This dissatisfaction and desire to right wrongs gives a drive to speak and guide, think deeply about "what's true", ie, "the laws of God", "the laws of nature", and then "teach about that". It's really because of their need themselves. As usual, it's their projection. Then others need that in their lives and participate, and so everyone relates. But dissatisfaction and seeking better answers, then teaching them, is all part of it. Which means, they themselves are preaching to themselves. This I know. Others read it and find it interesting, but it's really the Jupiter working out Jupiter inside itself. It has both the concern, and the ability, along Jupiterian lines. This includes delivery, hence it's coupling with Mercury in angles, and together Law and Print, Thought and Speaking, Preaching and Books, Teaching and Books, always go together in life. Jupiter is the higher side of the thing, and Mercury is the delivery systems and persons. All of these people act out of their own needs alone. Therefore, when Jupiterian people announce Laws which prevent a group of people from doing something that is natural to them, a great problem begins. This is usually only necessary when economics are concerned, and the offending culture has to be changed to fit the master plan. When there is religious killing going on, there is usually involvement of Jupiter and Sagittarius, and Mars. There has to be that fight and kill element, and the religious righteous feelings of Sagittarius and Jupiter. Pisces is more about solving problems. Sagittarius is much more fiery, martial, dangerous, armies, etc. The finest things in life, determined by all high cultures, are the moments in life when the human is exerting selfless effort for their own and common good, or the act of sacrifice. We do this each day for each other, and it creates happiness. The opposite, exploitation, creates misery. When the parts of our selves, our Jupiterian part, our Venusian part, etc., are employed in acts of sacrifice for our own and the common good, then they are properly employed. This is referring to a mood of submission of powerful forces, UNDERneath more gentler forces. In other words, in the known to be progressive, positive, and wholistic paradigm, it is the force of submission which is higher than the force of plain old force and power. Indeed, those of us who know grace, religion, spirituality, and have been around a number of cultures andpersons professing to be advanced in same, and have been around long enough in life to see what really works in small and large situations and what doesn't, I can assuredly say: That it is indeed true that almost universally most endevours go better if one takes the feminine tact, the reflective, watchful, humble, student, servant, tact, rather than the agressive, oblivious, dreadful, master, tact. This is feminine thinking verse masculine thinking, or also, partly, eastern verse western. I am noticing in Celtic literatures, a heavy prodominance of people making it a point to point out that Celts ate meat, and in this sense, they go on to rather obliterate any progress made in pacivism and vegetarianism over the past few decades in the West. It's clear to me that these are meat eaters originally, who are simply overjoyed to find out that they now have a one up on vegetarians, a classical and indigenous way of fighting back. Look, those who are sincere about finding inner peace and happiness are going to notice what works and they're going to go with that. If you find it makes you happy to eat meat, then I can't argue with you. If you are open to hearing about vegetarian thinking, then I can explain it. I cannot go back on mine. Why? Because when I look at birds and animals and fish, I could never want to disturb them. That's all. I cannot want to shoot a hole in their lung, rip their cheek, or shoot of their wing. I don't want to eat flesh. I find the thought revolting. I want to talk to the birds. I like knowing that the dear feels that I don't eat meat. I think they can smell it. Of course they can. Animals are very conscious of the real physical. They can smell one who eats flesh verse one who does not. They themselves, most of them, are vegetarians, the higher ones almost always are. The animals that do us the most good are. The animals we eat are. Vegetarians are healthy, and need less land to sustain. They do not interfere with animal species, nor do they heard them, mass slaughter them, create all that pain and screaming. It's true that plants live, but they are much less conscious than animals. Humans are more conscious than animals, and Gods are more conscious than humans, if they exist like that in a form of consciousness way, it would only make sense. Obviously, not everybody wants to give up meat eating. So what. I'm never going to eat it unless I have to to survive. People who eat or don't eat meat, people who take drugs and don't take drugs or alchohol, and all these kinds of major differences in religion and lifestyles, sexuality too, all of that, has to be tolerated. Nobody can overlord it over anybody else in an intelligent world. When man is at his best, he acts feminine. This means, do not agress, but take a hit. Serve, and make others well. Provide, and make sure everyone is fed. Clean, and keep everyone healthy. And do it all for yourself. Making weapons first, making power first, using such without recourse or without due regard, forethought, and without proper restraint throughout, is evidence of unbridled masculinity, which means "playing God", and which is always disastrous. You see, as soon as you desire stronger than passively, you are playing God. We can never guarantee any result, so attachment is ignorance, and is to play God. To pretend to know, when you cannot, is to play God. Anytime you play God, disaster will be the result. Man is at his best, when he is always guided by restraint, humility, and a desire to serve the center, which is Divine, and good and one with nature. Humans can be more divine than animals, and that is why they think differently. They do not need to regress to be good. They need to be fully human, there will be answers. Health is a very good guide. What is actually good for the health, is generally the right thing. Bias can again interfere here easily. Also, eating, the 2nd house, is tied to the 8th house also, elimination and other secret things, so there is always a tendency for lieing and deceiving, as people do not want it to be known the pain, diseases and smells that they experience as a result of their eating habits. So lieing in this realm is there. But health is a guide, and of course, genuine happiness and joy is a great indicator of proper directional choice. When I was a child, I remember being forced to "Go to confession". So we'd get in the car on Saturday evening, and drive to the Church, park, and walk in. I remember the priest was often sitting on the steps of the Church waiting for people to come. He was smoking, and he had rosey red alchohol face, and ugly, and white oily hair, dandruff, and a disgusting sound, smell and look. He would go into the box, and we would confess our sins to him. I remember as a young boy, when I saw him on the green marble stairs, in black, all disgusting looking, though I was very young, I can still remember registering the emotion of "this isn't right". I always had the emotion throughout life over and over in so many ways and places. Like, when I joined the Catholic Priesthood at 13, they assigned a Priest to teach me til I was college age, and this is called your "Spiritual Guide". So I would visit him. I remember sitting on his bed, noticing a stack of Playboy magazines in clear view, knowing that he drank alot of wine, was fat, was showing puffy rosey cheeks in his thirties, and he sat there staring out the window and said nothing to me at all for like a half hour. He delivered terrible sermons, and quit and got married. This is my ninth house for you. Now this kind of thing, over and over in my life. My relatives came over sometimes, and they were all good Irish Catholics. They simply sat around stiff as boards, drinking and smoking, saying very little, and I could feel it clearly, they were super uptight, and I could also smell their breath and bodies, and it was very gross, not good, not natural. When I met Hindus in India, it was the opposite, suddenly everything is natural. Because there's so much less of everything in their lives, including food that is merely decorative chemicals. Anyway, I was always registering "wrong" all my life. Everything was wrong. I never felt love. There was pain and competition everywhere, not only at my odd homelife of 11 siblings, but also at school, and on TV, and everywhere. There was masculinity, everywhere. Bombs, killing, etc. Talks always "broke down" and I never heard hardly anything ever taught to me in school that was intelligent from the heart of a human. Only logical crap, math, writing, etc. But serious poetry or love, or anything about the heart, or about doubt, or fear, or horror, or anything real or serious, death!, nothing like that. Not at home, and not at school. Farts were even bad. You couldn't even talk about farts. Everything about the body was bad and hidden. You couldn't see mommy giving birth- big curtains. You can't see dead bodies- they're in bags, or all made up, or "closed casket". You have to go "Rotten.com" if you want to see "real death", otherwise in our society, you never do, unless you happy to be at a real car crash, like I have been. Then you do. But otherwise, it ain't on TV, and it sure ain't on MTV, which is what kids watch. So, the delusion continues in the West. People are still growing up thinking that "ooh that's gross" whenever any part of the body is talked about other than the face. Then when they grow up, they have perverted or disturbed sexualities because they know nothing about it going into it, and blow it a ton, and then they're too far gone to return. I know. From believing in blind arranged marriage to chasing sex without restraint, I've run the gammut, and it's hell. And this society, America, will let you do anything at all. And friends, you can find any kind you want. You can find any kind of sex partner you want too. There's no guidance overriding in any way. So one must learn, on one's own, to know and feel inside, that inner guide, who can tell you when you're going too far, when you are stealing, taking, not caring, not giving. Unless you develop this, the modern world won't stop you per se. You could go very far into pain. When you get used to indulgence without the balance of work, you have a hard time coming back to balance. This is common in the West these days, because it's possible finally, after centuries of struggle, so naturally, we're getting the "Venus damaged" visibly in our day. From the softest/fastest to the hardest/slowest, it is that combination of softness and restraint, which should override and encase our thoughts and actions. Inside that container, the rest of the planets live, Jupiter guiding Mars and Venus, so that there's not too much agression or pleasure, and the Sun provides all with power. The Earth is the subject, the child. If you care about a person, they are on Earth. The Moon hovers the Earth, showing the caring nature of the reflective one, the mother. So we should be like mothers, and care for each other, be the reflective people, then we will be like our planet and it's mother Moon, and thus we and our Mother will live best. Sacrifice for others creates abundance and trust. Exploitation leads to famine and adversity. No religion is above these natural laws. Only as far as they teach it are they correct. Using a relgion to fly in the face of natural laws is simply fear based and shows lack of thought about simple logic. How can a man made conception (religion) be above that which is operating in full power and always has, and is way bigger than us, and which is the source of our bodies lives, in a very real and ongoing sense? Insanity can have many labels, and one of them is "religion". Choose wisely. It should lead to health, happiness, peace, pleasure, joy, acceptance of diversity, allowance for diversity, and it must be sustainable on Earth, otherwise it's a lie. -- Das Goravani , President 2852 Willamette St, #353 Eugene, Oregon, 97405 USA Voice: or <> Home of "Goravani Jyotish" Vedic Astrology Software , and more...
