Guest guest
Cynthia, You obviously have your own theory about marriage compatibility for people living in the United States. This area of jyotish appears to need more research, particularly for people living in the US. Chakrapani Ullal, a renowned jyotishi, living in Los Angeles, California mentioned to us in one of his classes that the classical jyotish principles of compatibility do not always apply to people in the US. He even included that statement to Indian-born citizens who are living in this country. He stated that the cultural expectations regarding marriage in the US are different than in India. This cultural environment probably accounts for much of the divorces in this country. Perhaps, jyotishis in this country should further study the elements of good marriage compatibility for this region of the world. Guest guest
Dear John Thank you for your kind words. There is nothing I would like more than to have greater clarity with this. I think that there is much to say about the cultural difference. Perhaps we can begin to revise by what our clients teach us. At least that is where I am, ever learning. I've found that spirit will send me several of the same lagna or same planet in the 7th in the same week or maybe two. Ketu in the 7th is always an eye opener. Relationships are unusual and karmic in some way. Boy are they teachers. c - "John Rasonabe" <jr_esq <gjlist> Tuesday, July 30, 2002 2:29 PM Re: [GJ] Marriage compatibilty analysis (Cynthia) > Cynthia, > > You obviously have your own theory about marriage > compatibility for people living in the United States. > This area of jyotish appears to need more research, > particularly for people living in the US. > > Chakrapani Ullal, a renowned jyotishi, living in Los > Angeles, California mentioned to us in one of his > classes that the classical jyotish principles of > compatibility do not always apply to people in the US. > He even included that statement to Indian-born > citizens who are living in this country. > > He stated that the cultural expectations regarding > marriage in the US are different than in India. Guest guest
Dear Cynthia, Would this also apply if one does NOT have Ketu in 7th in Rasi - but DOES have it in 7th in Navamsa?
