Guest guest
>I would appreciate your time in explaining further the difference between fate and free will. And predestined Karma Das Goravani writes: I have written extensively on this, but it's always good to update, as I grow. My views are not necessarily backed by classical Hindu literature. Through experience, I have found that they are not backed by famous Jyotishis either. Most standard Hindus and Gurus will teach differently than myself on this. So be warned. It's your choice. My opinion comes from my own meditations and calculations. I have a good brain for seeing patterns and very long periods of time, like, the whole entire creation in a flash, and viewing say 100 lifetimes in a row, not in detail, but thinking about how it is from what we do know, from what we see everyday. You see, most people go through life in the moment and in the present. They see what's around them. Some of us are "crazy" and see other things. Like sometimes I feel space UNDERNEATH the earth, ie, fourth house, while say standing in a store talking to somebody. It seems oh so funny to notice how out of touch with reality most people are. So I am always looking at life very odd. I can see clearly for miles too. My eyes seem to work perfectly on long distance. I know other people don't see what I see. I ask them. They cannot. It's like I have Eagle eyes long distance. Weird. Not that that's important, but all things are intertwined, ie, good eyescan equal good seeing power otherwise. So.... with all that said and apologized for.... I believe that there is no such thing as freedom truly at all. None whatsoever. But that DOESN'T "MATTER" You see "matter", where we are in now, is based on the ILLUSION of free will. You do have FULL free will. You can WILL whatever you want, dream, think, etc. You can also get very frustrated and kill yourself or others out of anger born of those frustrated dreams and desires. Because, nature, God, reality, do not always conform to everyones desires. It has it's OWN Plan and flow, and you have to along with it go. To have no pain, you must detachment gain. So basically, there are two truths simultaneously, one is absolute, the other relative. In the absolute, we are in one entity, and all linked. This is Jyotish's turf, what we see in charts. Then, on the relative side, we feel that we are somewhat independent, we feel we can make choices and either ruin or improve our lives, with better thinking, careful study, listening to advices, etc. This is APPARENTLY true and indeed, you are INVOLVED in these games and plays. But their "MATTER" is of relative value, depending on who you are in your intellect and heart. Things may not MATTER to a Saint, because his focus is no longer on his body and this realm in the present. So his body becomes IMMATERIAL to him, and thus is acts very differently than an attached persons. This is the result of surrendering the intelligence to higher knowledge, which is only done when the Lord allows it through your karma (the Lord means the whole of God, impersonal, personal, everything) Jyotish is mainly there to show you, that I'm correct here. If you study and see, you should see, that people are puppets of the Divine, through the controls of nature. This is said in the Hindu scriptures, such as Gita. Jesus implied it to, when he said: Who amongst you can grow your body by though? Who amongst you can make yourself as beautiful as a flower? Even Solomon wasn't as pretty as a flower... and so on. He's referring to the fact that the Divine is in control, not you. So he's saying "SURRENDER" to God, the Divine. That means, literally, to REALIZE the BOTH. You have to always know "I AM IN HANDS" This is simply a fact. Then you have to accept: I will ONLY Make the right choice ALWAYS That's the hard part. Until you do that, you are holding back, some attachment remains. So in this way, both sides help us learn and grow spiritually. Take for example you are driving to work, and you die. You never thought... People, you have NO control, you only THINK you do, but that is GOOD because that's how you grow and learn, and that's why the play is here. You cannot get out of it, so you have to go through it, all of it. So hang on, and learn to play. Call it the Matrix, or whatever, it's an illusion because it's temporary, but it is real because it is. We are seeing it, and it's unfolding, but see beyond and behind it too... look ahead millions of years, and back too, and see all this is relative, so it could be in the corner of gods eye in a tear drop for all we know.... Enlightenment is no longer caring what life sends, at all. Matra sparsas tu kaunteya... just tolerate the crap. Dehino smin yatha dehe... because you're a soul passing through Sarva dharma .... ultimately, you have to surrender and do it yourself You cannot expect someone or some religion to do it for you. peace, ask questions if you like, There is SO MUCH one can say on this topic. I am rather convinced of my positions. Please ask questions as you like. I can defuse anything on this, anything. Fire away if you like. I know I'm write, at least I think I know I'm write. No ego. Student of truth. Enlighten me more if you can.
