Guest guest
Or, how do we know that Grandma didn't send the puppy? Instead of it being Grandma? One of my friends who is quite old, has lost about three dogs to death in the last two years..and every time it happens, another stray comes waltzing up to her porch in the country..it really is as though the deceased dog is attempting to send her a new companion, since it can't watch over her any more in physical form. I like th cat story. One of my friends would surely like a chat with cynthia, if she's also a pet psychic..Another of my friends has talked about seeing not only the spirits of human dead, but also spirit pets as well. I guess many of us here know that it can still feel like they're around after they've died, too.. Best Wishes, D.
Guest guest
Dear Denise I do not claim to be a pet psychic but they do talk to me, it's just nothing special. It's not typically the stuff you see about the complicated stories from pet psychics, it's usually pretty simple. I've be aware of spirits (yes I know that some belief systems say this is wrong or evil and I have been told that Sai Baba says it is wrong, but hey, this is my multi-layered world and I find it to be pretty clear) for many years. Several years ago I nursed my sweeties elderly cat on her journey out. He should not believe that she was at the end of her journey no matter how clear it was to me. It;s like that when you are the next of kin. Anyway, I kept her in my office with me by day and by my bedside at night. When the time grew near I knew it because I would se the spirits of other animals: cats bird and rabbits appearing around us. When she passed, I had soothing music playing and I was stroking her. When I was 16 I went to a spiritualist who clearly described the dog who had recently passed. Sometimes, I see a former cat in the corner of my eye and am reassured that she is still alive in spirit. She always liked to catch another cat's eye and lead him around the house, now she does that with me sometimes. I think it is of the utmost arrogance for humans to presume that we are the only spirits that go on living and that there is a right or wrong way to incarnate. c - "Denise Notley" <venerablebede <gjlist> Saturday, July 27, 2002 8:34 AM [GJ] axct of dying/puppy story > Or, how do we know that Grandma didn't send the puppy? Guest guest
Dear Cynthia You <<I've be aware of spirits (yes I know that some belief systems say this is wrong or evil and I have been told that Sai Baba says it is wrong, but hey, this is my multi-layered world and I find it to be pretty clear) for many years.>> me It is my opinion that we should offer our skills and capacities in the service of the Lord. According to our best of capabilities we should offer our best to God. If you have that gift, God has giving it to you for a reason. In the Vaisnava belief, we believe that we should offer our best of skills and service to God, providing that there is not harm and that there is purity in it, God will accept it. The Vedas say that we are living in a multidimensional creation. The dimension called of spirits can provide as well a service to God, why deny the chances to some when God is all love?
