Brinkley - Padre Pio [was Death-- the experience]

thanks, but I didn't find Brinkley's data there.

 

Anyway, while I was at it, I took a look at Padre Pio's chart . I also did a

search for the time of the appearing of the visible stigmata on 20th

Septmber 1918 and found around 10.00 am morning.

Around that time Libra was rising and the Moon was speeding towards full,

but not quite, having just entered Pisces.

TR Mars at 29Li39 was aspecting natal Ketu at 29Cap46 (Mars, the wounds and

blood in lagna, natal Ketu the moksha karaka in the 4th house/heart of the

chart).

Tr Saturn at 0Le15 was conj Nt Rahu (and was aspecting quite closely NT Ma

and Ju).

Tr Jupiter at 20Ge05 was conj natal Venus (1st lord) at 21Ge43.

Quite close aspects... and if you include the outers...Tr Pluto

(transformation) at 13Ge52 conj natal Moon (dispositor of NT Rahu) at

14Ge16.

Dasas running: Sa/Ve/Mo all in 9th.

 

I haven't had time to look at other relevant dates, and 20th Sept 1918 was

not his first mystical experience. The invisible stigmata had already

'appeared' in the past and he had a very strong mystical experience either

on 5th or 6th August 1918, when he had an 'encounter with the same

mysterious 'apparition' who on 20th Sept apperead to him at the time of the

visible stigmata.

I don't know how to delineate high spirituality from a natal chart (not

enough imho to simply state that the ninth house is full and the moksha 8th

contain Ma- Me- Su, and Jup is in 1st). Adding the outers, Neptune is conj

Mars within 1 degree.

What are your thoughts?

 

(and btw, Padre Pio is the most beloved saint in Italy and has an incredible

number of devotees and people going on pilgrimage to S.Giovanni Rotondo. He

'appears' to people in times of distress through a strange sweet smell of

violets and has helped with miracles many people in distress).

Dear Maddalena et al

 

Did you know that Padre Pio was seen ministering to soldiers' wounds on the

battle fronts during WWII?

 

There is also a documented event where a town was to be bombed. The bombers

saw the face and open arms of the padre in the coulds and dumped their bombs

in the sea. When they returned it was later learned that the town was not

occupied and so a threat as had been believed when the order was issued.

 

PP was known to do hand-to-hand combat with beings in the cell of his

monastery.

 

I don't know how to assess "high" spirituality or any for that matter simply

from the chart. But I am glad someone is interested in discussing his chart.

 

I'm way behind in my Monthly newsletter but will get back with more later

this week if there is still interest.
