Guest guest
Dear Visti, >Kali Yuga started as soon as Krishna died. Thats why May 3102 is >considered the start of Kali Yuga. I thought it was Feb. 18th? >I drew a horoscope for my question, before we really got started in this >discussion, and it makes me suspect that Jupiter was in Cancer during his >birth. Yet the chart you have attached has Jupiter in Cancer... or am I mistaken? Who said that Jupiter should be in Cancer for Buddha's chart? I think you are confused with the chart for Jesus Christ which I posted at the beginning of this discussion. The chart for Buddha I have Jupiter is in Aries. The year is 503 BC, and the Moon has neechabhanga raja yoga. >As the birth was an easy one for his mother, powerful benefics should be >placed in and aspected the Lagna. Hence Jupiter or strong Moon should be >placed in Lagna. Then I take Scorpio as the lagna. Moon is in it and Jupiter aspects in rasi dristi. Of course, we don't have the 2 planets in Devalokamsa yet. What about the chart you propose? Yours sincerely, Dhira Krsna dasa
Guest guest
Dear Visti you << Dear Natabara, One correction. The Word "Chakra" refers to 2x 60 year cycles, namely 120 years. There are many Chakras, Maha Chakra, Daiva Chakras and etc, in 1 Yuga. Krta/Satya Chakra; 480 Treta Chakra; 360 Dwapara Chakra; 240 Kali Chakra; 120>> Although i have read about this before from one of the nice articles of Sanjay Rath, it is nice that you are refreshing it, it is well appreciated. Best wishes Natabara Das
Guest guest
Dear Dhira Krishna prabhu you <<In Srimad-Bhagavatam it is mentioned that technically the Kali Yuga were to start 50 years before the great Battle of Kuruksetra, yet due to the presence of Krishna on Earth, it started only after His disappearance, which is 86 years later>> me I am curious and would like to research, could you please tell me the reference to this? Thanks. Best wishes Natabara Das
Guest guest
Dear Dhira Krishna you quoted Visti "Kali Yuga started as soon as Krishna died. Thats why May 3102 is considered the start of Kali Yuga. The exact date escapes me, but i have it somewhere." You <<Are you sure about May? I thought it was Feb. 18th?>> me May is a new date to me, in the past 26 years, i have come across the 18 Bebruary 3,102 BC as for the beginning of Kali Yuga. Nevertheless, although i have this last date as a reference point, i do not take it as absolute. It is my feeling that we are not sure about the departure date of Krishna from this plane, and therefore the beginning of Kali yuga. Therefore, the date is only relative and maybe one day we will know for certain the absolute date. you telling Visti <<I think you are confused with the chart for Jesus Christ which I posted at the beginning of this discussion.>> me I did see your posting but i did not have the time to reply. If i do remember well, you have based the DOB of Christ from a psychic reader. I do disagree with that date. I have mixed experiences with psychic readers, some of them are very good (rare), and most are not pt to the standards desired. Somewhere i got a photocopy of the shadow of a solar eclipse that happened exactly over Jerusalem on the year 28?, i have to find it but it does nor relate to your date or the date given to us by the traditional Christian Churches. I have the feeling that someone has been manipulating historical dates to mislead future researchers, and therefore the DOB of Krishna, Budha or Christ are unknown at this time in history. Guest guest
I believe the astrological date of birth for Christ was sometime in the sprig of 4 BCE. If you recall the unusual planetary triangle in the heavens this spring. The astronomer said that a similar event occurred over Bethlehem and I believeit was 4 BCE. If I can find that paper I'll post it. c - "natabara" <natabara <gjlist> Friday, July 12, 2002 6:16 AM Re: [GJ] DIVINE BIRTH > Dear Dhira Krishna > > you quoted Visti > "Kali Yuga started as soon as Krishna died.
