Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah Dear Krsna, Kali Yuga started as soon as Krishna died. Thats why May 3102 is considered the start of Kali Yuga. The exact date escapes me, but i have it somewhere. As for the grahas in Aries. Sanjay Rath has stated in the past that all the grahas were conjoined at the begining of Aries, when Kali Yuga started. Its said that Sri Buddha Avatara, left his body on the same month and tithi as he entered it. i.e. Vaishak Purnima. Actually Vaishak Purnima was the focus of many of his activities. Sun would be in aries or taurus. If Taurus, then Moon would be debilitated in Scorpio, hence i accept Aries as the placement of Sun. Hence Moon would be in Libra during the full moon of Vaishak. I drew a horoscope for my question, before we really got started in this discussion, and it makes me suspect that Jupiter was in Cancer during his birth. As the birth was an easy one for his mother, powerful benefics should be placed in and aspected the Lagna. Hence Jupiter or strong Moon should be placed in Lagna. I looked at some birthyears, and then did some correcting on the basis of Jupiters position. I've attached the chart bellow. Its just an assumption and i haven't fully analysed it yet. Best wishes, Visti. In Srimad-Bhagavatam it is mentioned that technically the> Kali Yuga were to start 50 years before the great Battle of Kuruksetra,> yet due to the presence of Krishna on Earth, it started only after His> disappearance, which is 86 years later. This 86 years we nicely see> reflected in the ayanamsa, which would change about 1°11'40" in that time.> Hence the Lahiri had about 23°51'55" at the time of the Jup-Sat> conjunction last 28 May 2000. 22°40' + 1°11'40". Another point that gave> me faith in the correctness of Lahiri is that at the time of the> conjunction in 2000 Rahu was exactly at 3°20' in Cancer (mean nodes),> which is an important point in the zodiac since it is also mentioned that> Satya Yuga starts when Sun, Moon and Jupiter enter the nakshatra of Pusya> at the same time. So here Rahu would indicate the start of the Krta Chakra> in 2000...> > Concerning Buddha's birth, it would be 563 BC according to the general> opinion, but it actually looks better with 503 BC regarding the account in> the Second Book of Acts. Mary was born as Eunice at the time of Socrates,> who died in 399 BC, while she was still a young girl, and not long married> yet. We can presume she was about 30, and there were 13 years between her> life as Yashodara, the wife of Siddharta Buddha and her birth as Eunice.> As Yashodara she lived up to a good age, yet 503 to about 443 would be> about 60 years, so that looks acceptable. Bhaktivinode Thakur writes in> his "Krsna-samhita" also that Buddha was born around 500 BC. So that would> actually put him into the Kali chakra indeed.> > >I don't question Parasara, hence i accept the calculations derived> >therefrom. But then the chakras indeed do not coincide. Then> the Kali Yuga must have started either 4800 or 6000 years ago. I would go> for 6000, since in Egyptian pyramids a calendar has been found starting> from 3999 BC till now. And the Saptarishi connecting with each nakshatra> for 100 years could also give one cycle of 2800 years if they connect to> Abhijit as well. I would propose we rather> have to look at the exact degree of Rahu-Ketu, since they represent the> Kala Chakra. No, Jup-Sat conjunctions will happen every 20 x 360 days, or> about 19.71 years. That makes the cycle full every 59 years, thus every> new cycle of the 60 Hindu years will have the Jup-Sat conjunction in> another year. 60 of these cycles comprise 3600 solar years, after which> the Jup-Sat conjunction falls in the same year again. This is were the> years of the demigods and chakras will coincide again, 10 years of the> demigods and 3 cycles of krta-treta-dwapara-kali chakras, and that's also> the basis for the bigger yugas.> > >I accept what Manu and Parasara have taught, being that they are the> >exact source of this knowledge.> > The rest of what I said seems to be correct.
