Guest guest
Siddharthas question was good. If predeterminism is real, then every "attempt" is potentially a waste of time if it's not meant to be, ie, his example was that if people aren't interested in Veda by karma, no matter what you do, they won't be interested. This leads to "what's the point of anything". This is male logic. I understand him. I've had these same thoughts many times. I don't think it's about whether we should help or not as one respondee was saying.. about doing what we can in Kali Yuga... I took it he was asking a straight philosophical question, one which is commonly arrived at in Jyotish, and which I think therefore should be dealt with. The idea I gave, worded in a long way, was, that this cannot be answered in the normal ways, because indeed it is a twister, like an impossibility to the mind- that all could be predestined, since we perceive it so otherwise (we perceive making choices and taking action, ie, the feeling of independence). So my point was that it can be answered through knowing we are witnesses who do not know the script, and therefore, no point in thinking about destiny, as we cannot clearly read it anyway. So my answer was like that. I have found no other way to deal with this question. I think woman should maybe think of this question as more of a "male question" in that I think it flows from the analog goal oriented logic of the male- like should have a purpose, a reason, a goal, and predeterminism takes the importance of "I" out, and that's harder on men with their ideals and goals. I replaced putting as much there with putting some of my focus into how I respond to the game, which is a mopre englightened but less motivating approach. -- Das Goravani , President 2852 Willamette St, #353 Eugene, Oregon, 97405 USA Voice: or <> Home of "Goravani Jyotish" Vedic Astrology Software , and more... Guest guest
Hi Carol knowing we are witnesses > who do not know the script, and therefore, no point in > thinking about > destiny Hello? Earth to Das! What's vedic astrology??? (I enjoy your postings and yet, sometimes I shake my head! That's okay, Das, I'm not an analog-thinking male, I'm a digital-thinking female....one day you guys might catch up to us, but for the interim, go in peace! Love to all, Carol Das writes in defense of his position somewhere in Jupiters orbit: Dear Capt. Hook, Hey, what's up which the sarcastic prejorative questions? Is that the right big words???? Ummm. Uhhh. You're not supposed to expose me. I'm supposed to enjoy unlimited "he's so cool" kudos at all times no matter what I say. Haven't you read that in the rules? Girl, get with the program. Now, to address your point, it's simple. Have you ever heard of "out of context". Enough said. That comes from a much larger thought. As you snipped it, it makes me look bad. So, Jupiter to Capt. Hook, what that quote and judge gun you got there! For your ref, I even remember the context cuzz it's an all important point. Yes, I know my rap down to the sections. I know what section of the rap that part comes from. Yes, in one section of realization of reality, we leave aside faith and belief in destiny, and we go completely with the power of will alone. This is in my view the intent of nature, to teach us through the illusion of lessons that are rooted in free will, or choice, then reaction. But in a certain stage of realization, it's important for the soul to regnize that we never know the script fully. Dear Carol, what's happening right now exactly with my relationship with Bernadette? If I give you both datas, will you know exactly? Can you tell me exactly when I'll meet the wife I long for if ever? That's my point. So knowing that, at that stage in our thinking, we have to forget destiny. So it's something towards helping Sidhartha out of his bind. He was asking that hard question... If all is pre, then what's the point? I thought that's what it was And what's your answer to that? Mine is a twist. But I gave it. Yours was not exactly an answer to that question. Otherwise, have a rockin nice day y'all, ya hear? -- Das Goravani , President 2852 Willamette St, #353 Eugene, Oregon, 97405 USA Voice: or <> Home of "Goravani Jyotish" Vedic Astrology Software , and more... Guest guest
Das, I was going to write you a long reply to your first email, but I set it aside for later, but now I read your silly mishmush analog tush and I think, why bother, he's having fun not thinking at all, let him be. I expect better times will return when Mars is not combust! Love to all, Carol
Guest guest
>I'm a digital-thinking female Carol, no no no, you have it all wrong. Dizzytail That's the word for women, not digital, it sounds similar. Dizzy tail refers to how their tush feels with all that swining back and forth. Later there's droopytail, but that's often not issued for those who own hardware. Those who into software know all about it. -- Das Goravani , President 2852 Willamette St, #353 Eugene, Oregon, 97405 USA Voice: or <> Home of "Goravani Jyotish" Vedic Astrology Software , and more... Guest guest
Dear Das, I do not know destiny either, but instead of not thinking about it I do try hard, really hard, to understand human life....both from what was and what is and what is probably to be. B.V. Raman states in his book "Three Hundred Important Combinations" the combination #234 called "Thrikalagnana Yoga." He writes the following definition: "Jupiter should occupy Mrudwamsa in his own navamsa, or Gopuramsa, and be aspected by a benefic planet. He goes on, "Jupiter can have this Mrudwamsa in his own Navamsa, provided his longitude is between 9 and 9.5 degrees in Mithuna, Thula, or Kumbha." "Results: The native becomes capable of reading the past, present, and future." (There's another description for Jupiter's Gopuramsa.) This is the end time of Jupiter in Mithuna, or Gemini, right now. To make my point about there being a time for avatars even now, it wasn't very long ago (last year) when Jupiter was in the 9-9-1/2 favored degrees of Gemini. If the planets agreed to bestow this yoga, is he destined to greatness on account of his knowing? Maybe we need other yogas also, to produce compassionate deeds from this knower... Every century many millions of trees grow, and every once in awhile one grows into what is called a Champion tree, inspiring due to its age and grace and immense trunk and leafy branches. There are Champion trees all over the country, even one on the property of a Marriott Hotel nearby...this tree inspires many people who have gazed up at it. Which ones of us will become like a Champion tree? As for your future marriage, it's made in heaven before it's made on earth...your new move could be the right move that allows a new lady to come into your life. One must dress for someone's wedding, in order to attend the banquet... Prepare your new home! I think the second marriage is shown by the second house(?). Give yourself a chance to make some money; you'll need to be saving up (and spending wisely) in order to attract the right person. Happy day, Carol
Guest guest
hi i studied tri kal yog and my own kundli, and decided it's there in part, as I have jupiter in mridu, and so strong, as I realized the nature of that yoga in fact, i felt i suffered it - this i concluded yrs ago and in life, it pans out, but it's in shadow, i see it all in extreme shadow, so it's almost useless, but in that dream state awareness, there's enough to cause enough awareness to cause nightmare, so it's more a drag than a blessing foresight, foreknowledge, is a curse, so long as one has any attachment that is the main reason why we do not know the past and future inability to handle it i know everything in part, in gray, and suffer accordingly, being unable to handle it there is a woman, or two, possible, i've gotten over thinking otherwise but i freshly realize how rare are those who for me hold interest, m or f the level of the heart is where we feel afraid, think of it, we are afraid to be honest, go inside, face the truth... oh, so are we not afraid of otherwise? Seeing the enemy before him victorious, the Celt chose suicide. Seeing the enemy of illusion covering all directions, the yogi went inward. Though the techniques vary based on the chosen paradigm, still the virtuous always share chivalrous dignity in the integrity of self worth in their chosen identities. "you may not recognize me, but I do. I shall not share your view, but alone I shall continue with mine" This ethic of will is understood by Kshatriyas. Bravery, knows no return ticket. The taste of victory, is the knowledge of one's own detachment combined with determination. It's like Sweet and Sour Stir Fry, it's everybody's favorite. Victory is lonely, death is lonely. All transformation is lonely. Only stagnation is social, and there they talk of the other, the side which is lonely, as if worshipping it from the distance of doubt and procrastination, for we all know we must go. when life and death are one in life, then life shines fully, as it is always happiest when travelling with it's trump card, the dark side, the knowledge that in spirit, one is allowed to declare bankruptcy, and beg for mercy, and that the perception of will, is our only heartbeat, beauty, our only ground to stand on -- Das Goravani , President 2852 Willamette St, #353 Eugene, Oregon, 97405 USA Voice: or <> Home of "Goravani Jyotish" Vedic Astrology Software , and more...
