Guest guest
Dear all Although i did have the below article on dogmas for the past 3 days, i was waiting for the issue to develop in this list. I think that this article gives another piece to the puzzle. I hope that you like it. Best wishes Natabara Das ***** NEWS 112 A / Regarding the article about the ritual done by Muslims around the sacred Kabba, I have to clarify that I have been told that in reality, Muslims circumballate the sacred Kabba in a clock-wise direction, instead that the opposite direction as posted by R from America. God send His prophets, representatives or gurus to help people according to their culture and beliefs. I do not like the politics in religion. I like the essence in every religion, which is the same in all. The Muslim religion is great and it has inspired great people. Even if Ala has given the instructions to circumvallate anti-clock wise, there is a divine reason for it. We should follow those divine instructions in every religion, rather than the dogmas fabricated by politicians. Right now i am reading a book written by Erich Von Daniken MIRACLES OF THE GODS, describing how the main dogmas were fabricated by corrupted rulers in the first 5 "Church Councils" The first dogma was issued by Emperor Constantine that Jesus was God (Nicea 325 AD). This Emperor “ordered that slaves caught pilfering food should have molten lead poured down their throats and allowed parents to sell their children in time of need”. Although to beginners, Guru and God should be preached as One, Lord Chaitanya appeared in India in 1486 to balance that philosophical point, by preaching the idea of Achintya Bedha Tatwa, meaning, simultaneously one but different. Just like a drop of seawater has the same components as the sea, that drop is never in quantity the same as God. Guru is empowered by God according to his surrender to Him. Therefore a real Guru has the power to elevate the consciousness of his/her disciples. The symptom of the soul is consciousness. Guru is the door to God. Paul Mac Cartney said in a Hare Krishna’s magazine in the 80’s, that one day a Hare Krishna devotee knocked at his door, and after a couple of hours chat he left. Soon after Paul inspired from that encounter, did write “The Winding Road”, (I am not sure of the title), dedicated to Srila Prabhupada, whom we know is a saktiavesh avatar (empowered reincarnation). I remember the song saying “That winding road leading me to your door”. A beautiful song. The dogma of the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost was introduced at the 2nd Council (Constantinople now Istanbul, in 381 AC). Emperor Theodosius I (347-397) presided that Council. In the year 390 he had 7,000 rebellious citizens murdered in the circus of the town of Thessalonica. “The third Ecumenical Council at Ephesus (431) was convened by the East Roman Emperor Theodosius II (408- 450) and the West Roman Emperor Valentianus III (425-455)”. The dogma that Mary should be worshipped as the mother of God, started here. The fourth Ecumenical Council at Chalcedon (451) was convened by the Byzantine Emperor Marcianus ( 396-457), but it really was ran by his selfish wife Pulcheria. The dogma was issued that Jesus has a double nature, one divine and another human. “That is how the primacy of Rome originated” The 5th Ecumenical Council at Constantinople (553) was staged by the East Roman Emperor Justinian I (483-565). The main dogma issued here was “What was to be orthodox in future was exclusively by the leaders of the Church, inspired by the Holy Ghost”. At that time the ring that bishops wear became the symbol of “marriage” to the Church. Also, a “heretic” became anyone that denied the Church’s dogmas. I have to say that at least in those 5 “Church Councils”, the bishops who supposedly were more experts in spiritual matters, were outage by the Emperors, whom were more experts in matter than in spirit. While all this political issues were taken shape, the real Christians were keeping a low profile and their beliefs. For the first Christians, the wedding at Cana, was the wedding between Jesus and Mary Magdalene. While the Church forced Christians to worship a crucified man, the first Christians celebrated the resurrected Jesus. It seems that for almost 2,000 years politicians at Rome have manipulated the beliefs of dogmas, rather than follow the real Christian essence of religion. In order to force dogmas and power on people, the Inquisition was born, and their instruments of torture were developed by them to control “heretics”.
