Anyone have predictions on upcoming Saturn/Pluto opp.?

I'm new to this group. Hope this post is in line with this group's

focus/interests. I'm not particularly into GJ, but this is the most

d group in under the Vedic astrology umbrella, so I'm

hoping to get the most attention:

 

As you all probably know, there is a Saturn Pluto opposition

happening sometime next week (between 24-26May, I havent calculated

exactly when). This is the 3rd such opposition within the past year.

What's interesting to me about this one is that the Saturn-Pluto

opposition axis is almost exactly conjunct with the Rahu-Ketu axis

i.e. Rahu-conjunct-Saturn (in sidereal Taurus) opposing Ketu-conjunct-

Pluto (in sidereal Scorpio). Now, according to principles "Kujavad

Ketu" (Ketu acts like Mars) and "Sanivad Rahu" (Rahu acts like

Saturn) and additionally the similarity of Pluto (persistent

inexorable power) and Mars (sudden power, perhaps not persistent), it

would seem that this opposition is all the more accentuated by the

accompaniment of Rahu and Ketu. Plus given the karmic nature of Rahu

& Ketu, this seems to increase the "fated" nature of the manifested

event, although I cant really imagine how. Of course, there is also a

lunar eclipse in the May 24-26 time frame. Furthermore, there is a

solar eclipse in the June 8 time frame. There is also a Sun-Saturn-

Rahu conjunction within a 1 degree orb in sidereal Taurus in the June

8 time frame. There is also a Moon-Mercury conjunction at exactly the

same time - so 4 planets and Rahu in sidereal Taurus. So a lot of

astrologically significant events in this overall time frame in

general.

 

As usual, it is far more interesting to predict before the event

rather than rationalize later. Given that, does anyone have any

predictions (with rationale behind the prediction)? Specifically:

 

1) For some specific place or country? Clearly this opposition is one

of conflict, perhaps massively so. A war (Afghanistan? Israel? Iraq?

Kashmir?)? A natural disaster? Even another terrorist attack? Anyone

have cartographic software to pinpoint which place this opposition

axis would be directly overhead? Or at other key angles e.g.

ascendant, descendant?

2) For some specific well known person. A political leader of

importance? GW Bush for e.g.? Infamous people e.g. Saddam Hussein?

Usama Bin Laden?

3) About some sudden and new financial problems on a national or

global scale? A new Enron like collapse in the US? Sudden Nasdaq or

Dow downturn?

4) Or even some clear explanation that this event is really a non-

event on a global scale because of some other nullifying benign

influences or the absence of other necessary indicators?

The Saturn Pluto opposition is a long running transit. This is the final

pass. Typically this final pass is the release of the energy. Often it is

the resolution. In a person's chart, the final pass often brings the

insight that was lacking previously. On the world stage, this is likely to

herald the next phase of the War on Terrorism. It is also likely to find

Israel and Palestine pushed to making an agreement by necessity. Saturn

deals with structures, Pluto with deep and lasting change or transformation.

A Pluto transit, and particularly the final transit does not come out of no

where, there are signs all along the way. It feels like the current in a

river, that river is to strip away anything that stands in the way of the

person accessing his or her full essence and potential. We fight the change

because it is unknown. Pluto is associated with the underworld or the dark

side of each person. In the case of world events, it is imperative to

acknowledge past wrong doings and move forward. I believe that the antidote

for this tension is accepting responsibility and a sort of international

apology by each nation and each person for the pain caused.

 

Is that likely? Probably not, but there are hints of it in the news with

the Catholic church and other groups who are apologizing for their actions

made in ignorance.

 

The union with Rahu and Ketu and the gathering of planets during eclipses is

often associated with earth changes (earth quakes) I am not a specialist in

this Richard Nolle (www.astropro.com) usually makes reference to this sort

of info.

 

I suspect that these eclipses will initiate the overthrow of Hussein wither

from within his country or outside. Probably both. Once we reach July,

assuming that the time of birth I have is accurate, he will be out of grace.

Jupiter is strong by constellation, but is in the maraka 2nd house,

beginning

to aspect Saturn lord of the 8th and Jupiter in the 8th and lord of the

maraka 7th. Saturn is now sitting on Ketuand Pluto on Rahu. He is at a

turning point. Will he flee or will he be overturned and killed? I don't

know, there are others on this list that are better judges of death than I.

 

The June 10th eclipse is on Rahu and that intensifies the energies of

avarice. Notice the chart of the beginning of the Gulf war. It was begun

on a Rahu solar eclipse with Saturn tightly joined to Rahu. This certainly

looks like the next chapter.

 

Finally the nakshatra Mrigashira is all about bringing the heavens back into

balance. It is not about war for greed, but about shooting down the tyrant,

Rohini's father when he stepped outside the bounds. Expect to see companies

and leader who step outside the bounds be brought down. This is not

specific to one religion or nation but universal. Mrig. is the big template

through which this play is enacted. It is passionate and focused in action.

Jyeshta is also a player with Pluto and Ketu there. Betrayal is another key

theme.

Dear Cynthia and list members

Two dear friends of mine have chosen June 8th as their wedding day.

They, of course, no nothing about astrology, and obviously didn't

consult an astrologer before choosing the day.
