Vedic astrology deals with the horoscope taken for the time when the umbilical

cord is cut and not from the time taken from the first breath of air.

 

I have read somewhere that the time for the conception can be taken as well into

consideration. However, in this Kali Yuga it is almost impossible to follow or

to know those regulations.

 

However it helps to know that procreation should be avoided as long as the sun

is over the horizon, because otherwise inauspicious souls are supposed to be

sent by Lord Shiva, to give them the chance of reformation.

 

Also, the mentality of the couple should be in peace and harmony at least just

before procreating. Meditation is adviced and the mental concentration of the

couple should be aimed to bring down a soul that has a high moral standard.

 

The more satvic (mode of goodness) the mind at the time of conception, the more

satvic the child will be. However, it is not good to pretend to be satvic when

we are forced by mother nature to show a different mode of nature. It is

impossible to force mother nature, she is more wise and powerful that us.

Because of our free will, perhaps we can try to be satvic for a while, but if

mother nature has her plans of making us rajasic or tamasic, we will be so,

sooner or later. Our horoscope can show all that but it requires a qualified

astrologer to read those trends.

 

You can imagine how many souls in the mode of raja or tamas were invited to this

material manifestation, after a Saturday night party.

 

In schools we are told the world over that "our" cultural system is the best,

but we can see clearly that the product of those faulty cultures are just

making more mistakes and confusion. The "solutions" given by most of our top

leaders are not working, and only a cosmetic solution is used that sooner or

later, will be inherited by the next leaders, until the system will be burst.

 

When i was in university i did heard alternatives to our present system, but

amazingly, all those alternatives were also faulty, the product of a

materiallistic system.

 

It is only in the Vedas that i can see a perfect solution to an imperfect mad

system, but unfortunately the present "reformers" do not seem to know about the

Vedic alternative.

 

But the winds of destiny are changing and our boat (this human society) is going

to change its course towards a more positive Vedic alternative. It is predicted

in the Vedas anyway.

 

Also, procreation should be performed by following auspicious Moon days, Moon

signs, Moon naksatras and auspicious fertile days of the cycle of the mother to

be.

 

The sunrise and the sunset times are when the centre of the Sun is in

conjunction with the horizon and not when the upper or lower limb of the sun

like some astrologers say.
