I generally appreciate them, unless they are after the young squirrels. Last Saturday I say a Screech Owl, and Monday I say 3 Canada Geese. I've never seen Canadas in this area so late in the year, and while I've heard the owls, this was my first face to face eye to eye contact! Bird omens seem to be everywhere. The wonder Western astrologer and pagan magician Caroline Casey noted that the crows seem to be following George W. She thinks that they are shouting "Liar Liar!"
