Dear Maddalena

you

<<you didn't answer my question to you the other day. I don't mind, but I'd

sincerely like to ask you another question:>>

me

I am sorry about not answering in time but as you can see our emails have crossed.

I always answer all my emails unless i lose them for good or temporary. This

time i was delayed because of some obstacles, problems or priorities.

The recent virus delayed the unloading of my emails, i just discovered after 12

months of recovery that i am allergic to nuts, and without knowing i went down

for a couple of days, also, there were some priorities to deal with. But

please do not feel guilty of imposing. It is one of my duties to answer

according to time and circumstances.

<<I'd like to know a little about the interpretation of the outers in Vedic

astrology (if this doesn't bother the list of course).>>

me

Thank you. Bhaktivinoda Thakura wrote a beautiful book called "The Bhagavata".

He is like my spiritual great grand father in my Vaisnava school. In India, he

used to be a magistrate for the British.

He said in that book "Oh! What a trouble to get rid of prejudices gathered in unripe years!"

Yes indeed. I did take a long time to get rid of some of my prejudices gathered

early in my home country.

My rising Virgo did help a lot to analyse my faults and my prejudices, and i did

try hard to correct them, i am still trying to correct a lot of them.

We have to see that in this Kali yuga, we have deviated from a Vedic

civilization, which is the one given by Krishna (God)to Brahma, the architect

of this universe, in order to guide the souls to a better consciousness.

However, because of the lack of a Vedic education, our schools are generating

mainly crocks to rule our planet.

We have to say that karmically, Mother Durga is in charge of giving us suitable

bodies to our desires, karma, and tendencies.

Unfortunately, in this Kali yuga, there are more souls with bad intentions than

souls with good intentions.

The freedom is always there, and we have the choice to either do good or do bad,

but the reactions are accordingly.

Nevertheless, with this freedom, we will still be limited by those boundaries

drawn out by our Mother Durga.

If we are destined to pay a bad karma from our unseen or unremembered deeds form

this or from a previous life, we have to tolerate or suffer from the rule of

crooks in power.

By karma, somehow those crooks have been given the power to rule and exploit.

A Vedic ruler learns how to serve his/her citizens and guide them to a higher

consciousness. A crook of Kali Yuga, will learn how to exploit, use or abuse

his/her citizens or subjects.

Once in power, the crooked mentality will search how to control people. The

essence of that control can be found in the education, which can be seen from

the 4th house of the horoscope.

Education in Kali yuga is different from the education in a Vedic Age. In Kali

yuga we are brainwashed by the system. We are fed with lies, misinformation,

imperfect knowledge (Avidya as opposite to Vidya real knowledge), speculations,

etc. All this have a direction, to control robots.

Our soul reincarnates in a body which has a horoscope, and from the 4th house we

can see the type of education.

A faulty education produces a faulty materialistic society.

In this planet at present we have 3 main types of societies which i do not need

to mention. Those 3 societies are faulty because they do not take shelter of

the Vedic principles.

But we have to remember that it is our karma to have a belief system (dharma or

the 9th house), a karma (activities, profession, the 10th house), an artha

(economical development, income, earnings, the 11th house), and a tendency for

Moksha (liberation, the 12th house).

Those 4 pillars are the basis of any human society as explained by the Vedas.

And in another page Bhaktivinode Thakur said "Thought is progressive. The

author's thought must have progress in the reader in the shape of correction

or development. He is the best critic who can show the further development of

an old thought; but a mere denouncer is the enemy of progress and consequently

of Nature. "Begin anew", says the critic, "because the old masonrydoes not

answer at present.

Let the old author be buried because his time is gone". These are shallow

expressions. Progress certainly is the law of nature and there must be

corrections and developments with the progress of time. But progress means

going further or rising higher.

Now, if we are to follow our foolish critic, we are to go back to our former

terminus and make a new race, and when we have run half the race another critic

of his stamp will cry out "Begin anew, because the wrong road has been taken!

In this way our stupid critics will never allow us to go over the whole road

and see what is in the other terminus. Thus the shallow critic and the

fruitless reader are the two great enemies of progress. We must shun them."

<<Could you explain the three karmic significations of the outers? Are these

significations very different from western astrology?>>

At present i cannot say much about the outers, i am waiting to be told to go

ahead by my school of astrology. They know better that i when is the proper

time to do so.

However, i can say that the general significations of the outers in regard to

western astrology are very similar in Vedic astrology.

But we have to see that when western astrology began, the first western

astrologers, like the first Christians, had a more pure astrological education

than now. Unfortunately, some crooks have jumped in the back wagon and have

distorted much of that purity. We should be careful as to gather only what is

positive.

Perhaps due to some of my prejudices, my teachers did take some 6 months before

giving me the nectar of the outers.

Have a look at the planetary cycles. We have the 12 years cycle of Jupiter

return, or the planetary cycle of conjunctions between Jupiter and Saturn. Or

at the most, the cycle of 30 years of Saturn return.

We can draw some natal predictions out of those cycles, but how to explain the

collective karma of generations? To do this we have the cycles of the outers.

With a careful analysis we could study world history and see the collective

karma.

For a human culture to be great, it has to practice Vedic or sidereal astrology.

Look at the past, all great civilizations knew about the precession.

Precession can be of 3 kinds.

Symbolic, when some positive well wishers want to believe that we are in Aquarius.

Speculative, when some people like to speculate the precession to satisfy their false ego. And

Real, when serious research has been done about it or received in the

astrological parampara (teachings in succession).

To study the outers under the eyes of the tropical sky as seen by western

astrologers, it is redundant.

The Incas could follow the precession from Cuzco, high in the Andes, where the

sky is amazingly clear. In that way they could see that as long as the Sun was

rising together with the Milky Way, the Inca Empire was going to be great. Thus

they (astrologers) calculated that in 100 years time, when the sun was going to

raise "outside" the Mayu (River), a name for the Milky Way, it was going to be

the end of the Inca Empire. And the prediction came through when the Spaniards

arrive in due time, not before and not after.

In the beginning, (around 1995-96) i was told to see how Pluto in Leo indicates

a very important "batch" of souls reincarnating on this planet in order to

produce deep changes, (below i am giving the entry of Pluto (the residence of

Lord Yamaraja or the Superintendent of death) in Leo, with the help of the GJ

programme).

Note that Lahiri's ayanamsa has been used to calculate the positio of the

sidereal signs of the zodiac.

<<Do the outers cast special aspects according to your knowledge?>>

me

According to my knowledge, the outers only have a dristhi (view) or aspect on

the 1/7 axis, meaning the sign they located (1) and the opposite sign (7).

you

<<Sorry, I realize it's not just one question, it's just that I'm really interested.>>

me

Do not feel sorry, any question is welcome. If the answer could give me any

stress, i would tell you.

A year ago while in bed in a hospital, i did want to get up, but my legs or arms

did not move at all. At that point i realised that i should not worry at all

for my limitations. According to karma they come and they go. We are not the

controllers, we are the observers.

Best wishes

Dear Natabara,

you wrote:

<<I am sorry about not answering in time but as you can see our emails have crossed.>>

It is me that should ask for pardon for being so hasty. Sometimes I realize that

whilst e-mails are a great way of communicating, at the same time they sort of

change my 'perception of time'. It's quite incredible that I've become so used

to everything being necessarily fast, such as answers to e-mails.

Thank you for your explanation on the outers, it has given me a new perspective

and much food for thought and reflection.

Actually much more than what I was initially hoping for. I also found very

interesting your explanation on the effect of Uranus transiting in Aquarius

for the specific generation with Uranus and Pluto in Leo and with Saturn in

Aquarius. I know one person with these positions, and the effects you mention

are showing now in that person's life.

Kind regards

Maddalena
