Auspicious time

Dear Gurus,

 

I am a college student and have to apply for a very competetive college housing

assignment between April 22 and May 5. I want to select an auspicious time in

that period to submit my application, so as to increase my chances of a good

housing.

 

Can you tell me what is the karaka for this?

 

I am living in Stanford University, Palo Alto, California, USA 122W10, 37N25.

 

Currently Moon is in his own house in Cancer, Sun is exalted, and Mercury with

Sun forms the Buddha- Aditya Yog. Venus also resides in her own house in

Taurus. But Moon moves in Leo on April 22 and then Mercury to Taurus. Soon

thereafter, many planets conjunct in Taurus and are afflicted with Rahu.

 

What is the most auspicious time between April 22 and May 5? Only sun will be

exalted so I think that Leo lagna will be good. Kindly give your advice.

Dear Krishna,

Here is my 2 cents on your question. Between apr 22nd and may 5th,

the rasi of sun is very much not in your control. you have also not

given your birth data. you can use the following rules to decide the

date:

1)select the rasi in which the ashtakavarga of the moon is above 4

points and also if possible one of the rasis in which it gets above

28 points in the sarvashtakavarga scheme of u'r horoscope.The

nakshatra of the moon should be 2,4,6,8 or 9 th from your janma

nakshatra (modulo 9 division - remainder 0=9.).

2)At the time of the submission, moon should not be in 8th from the

horary lagna and similarly, malefic planets should not be in 4th

(landed properties), 7th(dealings with others) or 8th.

3)The karana should not be vishti,Chatushpada, Naga, Kimsthugna and

Sukuna and yoga should not be Vyaghatha, Parigha, Vajra, Vyathipatha,

Vydhriti, Ganda, Atiganda, Soola, Vishkambha.

4)benefics in kendras and trines and malefics in 3,6,12 is good, but

surely not in 4th,7th, 9th or 10th.

5)Let the lagna lord be strong.

5)pray to your palanakarta and submit the form (deity signifying the

planet in the 6th from amatyakarak in navamsa chart).

 

Gemini lagna around this time looks quite good.
