Therefore we can say that the Sun representing the

soul, the ego, the individual, in a Vedic horoscope, when becoming contaminated

by the waves of the material energy (the definitions indicated by every planet

and every astrological house), it becomes false ego.

 

Our false identification with the material nature, gives us the illusion of

suffering and enjoying. Therefore, we should try to raise our consciousness to

see reality, too be able to see that we are here in this material level just

like tourists.

 

Once we die, we will live behind all our projects, files, books, notes, job,

social position, family members, friends, money, credit cards, debts,

illnesses, the gross body, etc etc, and we will have with us only the subtle

body, mind, intellect, and false ego.

 

When we are born, we see that we are very limited within a baby body. We are

hopeless, we cannot talk, eat by ourselves, walk, and we cannot express or

communicate ourselves properly because we do not know how to do it.

 

We have to learn the rules of the game in order to survive and be a member of

this wonderful human society. We are told that this society has perfect rules,

and that it is the best ever.

 

If we become conformists, we will adapt more easily. But it we become

non-conformist, we will find life more hard to follow.

 

We find that in most cases, our parents have not been trained to be parents, and

therefore they do not know how to gives us a good education, or love and

affection.

 

Like a friend told me "children making children".

 

Never mind to get from them a sound spiritual education, because do not blame

them, they never were told about it.

 

Our schools do not give us the knowledge about the soul, our real self. Not

even astrology is told in schools.

 

All what they give is the tools of how to make nuts and bolts, build another

brick in this materialistic society, how to cheat others and ourselves and hoe

to survive.

 

Eating, mating, defending and sleeping are the 4 pillars to learn. But even

animals learn about those 4 pillars without going to school.

 

We are told that Democracy, Communism or Socialism (depending in which part of

the earth you are born), are the best, but when analysed, we discover that all

those definitions are illusions. The made believe of the politicians to

control the masses.

 

The Vedas offer the best definition to a perfect society, and it takes into consideration the soul.

 

By studying the Vedas, we can learn that there is an alternative to this madness

and that we have the opportunity to gather enough information as spiritual

beings, to transcend death.

 

When death comes, today, tomorrow, who knows? We are hapless. The less we know

about those matters, the lesser position we will be given in this drama. And

the more we know, the higher we will go in consciousness.

 

It is better to know than to live in ignorance, but that knowledge should be

spiritual, because the material knowledge will not be useful or accepted after

death.

 

Vedic astrology is very useful but it should be mixed with spiritual knowledge,

otherwise it will be of not use.

 

Many times we "fall in love", without realising that our partner may have been

our worst enemy or best friend in the past.

 

our worst enemy will have the disguised or open tendencies to hurt us either

materially or spiritually, or both if they get the chance.

 

Our best friends will come to help us in our direction.

 

Whoever they are, from the absolute position we can see that enemies and friends

are helping us to reach our final destination, which is go to Godhead, to that

realm where there is no more material suffering.

 

Our enemies come to get from us those debts from the past, but once that we pay

them (including the interests), we will be more able to continue our path.

 

>From the Gita we see that even our belief system is conditioned by the modes of nature.

 

While in tamas or ignorance, we think that we can grasp God or Guru in our hand.

We think that God is an article that we are used to buy. But we forget by

tamas that God cannot be grasped with our faulty education, He can be

understood only with pure Love, and we have not been told how to love.

 

The real spiritual Guru can guide you in the search for that pure love, but

search until you are sure to learn about pure love. A real guru will teach you

about that unconditional love, without expecting a payment for those lessons.

 

Pure love is free. The soul is love, made by love, from love and in love.

Search for that love that can be found in the Vedas.

 

Although in a contaminated environment, the soul can purify itself with the help

of Sri Guru, (the spiritual master, the guide), sadhus (spiritual students) and

sasthra (sacred scriptures).

 

At this stage, the pure ego stops being a false ego and as a pure ego, is

allowed into the realm of truth, mercy and love.
