Dear Hari Dasji,

Namskar,

Thank you very much for your kind blessings and answers. Narinderji wrote

me about my chart too. I do understand that sometimes god has some ulterior

motive. Since my childhood I always worked hard but never succeeded. You

are right that hardships teach us true lesson of life. Isn't it true that

in order to survive you need certain things. In today's world an ordinary

person needs success and money at least a little bit to survive or fulfil

his responsibilities. Why God punishes one person so much that at last

he/she becomes so much disappointed and faces insult from every angel. I

have lost almost everything. If this is the lesson god wants to teach me I

have been learning it since birth means more than half of my life.

As I told you narinderji also told me about venus. I was thinking my mars

is badly placed because it is 8th from moon, that is why I had troubles

every where - study, social, earnings etc. When Rahu is in second house it

gives family and financial troubles and saturn in 9th goes against relegion

and does not get alont with father. It is somehow true that I dont get

along with my father, we have different thinking. But I am firm believer of

God and religion. Mercury behaves like child, it is mutuable. Here,

mercury in 5th house is alone, etimes I believe that I am thinking or

behaving like a child. As you all are learned friends, if you permit me I

would like to share my some experiences of dreams or spritual knowledge so

that you could explain me how things are going around me according to vedic

knowledge.I do pray every morning for venus and saturn by reciting their

mantras. If you please allow me to write you on your personal address so

that I dont distureb other people.

Can you please guide me about astrology. I want to know how transit system

and planets aspect system work. As you said I have two good yogas, will I

gaingood results from those, if yes, in what way & when?If there are books

please tell me. I have sponsored my wife she can bring those books from

india. Please guide me how can I improve myself. My sincere apologies if I

Dear Balbir,

I have a few things i must take care of today

so i am gonna make this brief, but i can talk

to you more tonight or tomorrow.

First of all Buddh is placed exalted in Kanya

and being aspected by Brihaspati and Chandra,

and it lords over 2nd house of wealth and 5th

of intelligence, discernment, speculation,

children, creativity and past good karmas.

Buddh is a very good planet for you and it

is a good placement.

Study in finance will be good since Moon-Mercury

dasha is coming up.

Mercury is intellect and communication.

It is not childish but youthful.

Mangal is inauspicious due to 7th and 12th

rulership, so its placement in dusthana 6th

is ok.

There are a few things i'd like to say,

but i have to leave now and we will talk

Respected Hari Das JI,

Happy Holi to all. Thank you very much again for writing me. It is right

that mercury placement is good. Isn't it true too that 2nd house is being

ruled by Rahu and it gives financial and social troubles in 2nd. Rahu is

usually melefic except from 10th to 12th, am I right? Are jupiter and moon

being aspected by mars? Another thing, is it right that Rahu has kendra

aspect on mercury being 10th from mercury? Rahu and Budha are friends so

what Rahu will do? I understand Rahu's results are also like saturn and

ketu's like mars, will mercury also delay the outcomes of my efforts?

I was thinking to start MBA this year but due to problems I will have to

postpone it for next year. I will be able to finish it by 2006-07. Do you

think I will not face any hurdle to accomplish my MBA. If you can please

clear my doubts and help me to gather my inner energies up. Please do

explain me whatever you like to, You do have an excellent way of

Dear Balbir,

Here are some of my observations.

First of all your lagna lord is Shukra

and posited in 4th conjunct with the Sun

in its own sign.

Lagna lord is usually benefic but it is

a little tainted because in your case

it also rules 6th.

That means do not create enemies with

your words or actions.

The Sun in its own sign ruling 4th of

home with benefic lagna lord is a good placement.

But Shukra is combust, and i feel that is

the major cause of your problems because

i do not see other afflictions and lagna

is crucial.

Sani in its own sign and all important

9th of religion, fortune, grace and blessing

is a very good placement.

Also Sani is a raja yoga karaka because it

also rules 10th of career.

This means your spirituality has depth and

your career might take a long time to develop

but it'll be enduring and lucky.

You have strong 11th with Brihaspati in its

own sign conjunct Moon.

And that is a good placemnt of gains.

The Moon is vargottama in Navamsa.

Natural malefic Mars ruling 7th and 12th

making him a great malefic in dusthana is

ok but with a down side.

Because he rules 7th of relationship and

marriage, being in 6th of enemies, relationship

suffers.

As far as your second marriage is concerned

it looks it's going to last.

Some say 2nd marriage is judged by 2nd, others

say 9th.

I do not understand the logic of 2nd, but

9th is 3rd(siblings) to 7th and i go with that.

Either way it is ok.

2nd lord is in its own sign in exaltation.

9th you know already.

Moon-Mercury runs May 2003 to Oct. 2004.

I cannot talk to you about transits because

it takes a while to learn it.

You need to study it, and i think you have

the inclination with Ketu in 8th.

authors, i recommend Dr.K.S.Charak's

" Elements of Vedic astrology " to begin with.

I have that book and other Jyotish books

wrtten by western astrologers, and in a way

they are easier to understand.
