One person said Buddhi yoga is just when the sun and merc are in the same house alone, while another said no, they must be in exactly the same degree. So which is it? So now this needs to be resolved too. Does anyone know if Buddhi Yoga is limited to specific houses, and if su and me must be in the same degree or if different is ok? Budh-adhitya yoga is very common phenomenon since budha and surya would be together in most chart(rashi). For that reason, I beleive that their conjunction in specific divisonal charts, such as dashamsa(karma and profession) or Chaturvismamsa (education/knowledge) would have more signicance.. Otherwise, there is a wide spectrum of different opinions. Some beleive budha should be combust, some beleve not, some again say that it should be on a higher, while others thing on a lower degree. Yet one thing is certain. If budha is combust, it would OBEY the Sun. In case of Dhanu Lagna, it would be a blessing in disguise, since profane knowledge(budha) would be rejected to to the knowledge of Dharma (surya as 9th lord) and very favourable Dharmakarmaadhipati Yoga would be formed..
