Guest guest
Dear Vivek, The Atmakaraka is the 'soul/self indicator'. The planet with the highest degrees in a sign becomes the Atmakaraka. That is the "God" in the chart and can actually influence/modify the entire chart by its position, strength and aspects. It is also used as a lagna. In http://www.sjvc.org/Articles/ak.htm you'll find answers to all your questions regarding Atmakaraka. Best wishes Jay Weiss - "Vivek " <keviv90 <gjlist> Sunday, March 24, 2002 9:28 AM Re: [GJ] atmakaraka > hi everyone, can someone tell me what is the exact definition of > atmakaraka? what role does the atmakaraka play?---with > regards, vivek. > > On Fri, 15 Mar 2002 Sally wrote : > >Hi, It's the planet with the highest degree in the chart.
