Hi, It's the planet with the highest degree in the chart. And it refers to the Self. Sally

can anyone tell me which is the "aatmakarak graha" in a chart. is it ravi ? or

is there a defination for that ?and what is its significance in the chart ?how

it is related with the lord of navamasha ?(means what asects of that are to be

seen with thelord of navamasha)

Dear Vivek,

 

The Atmakaraka is the 'soul/self indicator'. The planet with the highest

degrees in a sign becomes the Atmakaraka. That is the "God" in the chart and

can actually influence/modify the entire chart by its position, strength

and aspects. It is also used as a lagna.
