Guest guest
Talking about oils, i recomend to read a book about massage (i do not remember the name) written by Harish Johari. He was a wrestler at one point and that book is a very good one regarding Hindu massage. Dear Natabara, A quick search on the Web gave me this information. Thank you for recommending this interesting book. I'll look for it! Best wishes, Carol Ayurvedic Massage: Traditional Indian Techniques For Balancing Body & Mind by Johari, Harish Publisher: Healing Arts Press (Int) ISBN: 0892814896 Retail Price: $ 19.95 The author guides the reader through each step in the full-body massage, illustrated by more than 100 line drawings. He explains what oils work best for particular body types and shows how to stimulate self-healing. Includes instruction for using massage during and after pregnancy---for both mother and child. The chapter on therapeutic massage outlines techniques and remedies for treating specific disorders, and Johari even includes a complete guide to the traditional Indian 40-day beauty treatment. I remember the name. I have photocopies of the most important pages to me. I have read it all back to 1990, and it is a must to understand the basis of ayurveda.
