Guest guest
Dear Hari Das you <<How are you?>> me Recovering from the Deepak experience, but well, thanks. JKL J you<<Thanks for the replies to Deepak.I think you said it better than i could.I kept quiet because i did not think thatwe could come to an agreement.>> me Welcome, and i think that you did well in keeping quite, sometimes it is not worth it to waste time with "time wasters". I must have been becoming senile to deal with those kind of trouble makers, but we have had some experiences in the past and i do not wish to see that again in this list. We are adult astrologers and most of us in this list know how to behave and see with our intuition the low gunas working out in those that cannot control them. The only way to learn is by being sane and i am sure that we all are learning and that we are going to learn much more. By good association, the chemistry can work out in a way that together we can bring knowledge down to our level, to further advance in our studies. There is much to learn and everybody is welcome to learn, others can see, but the trouble makers will waste their time. J you <<About what you said concerning Bhagwan Krishna's birth chart, i have a question. In the scriptures there are birth charts informations on Lord Rama and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. What do you think about that?>> me My thinking is that we have to do a lot of research about those charts. Even 30 years ago, we did not have the correct planetary algorithms to calculate horoscopes beyond 5,000 years. In our days we are extending our capacity beyond that and in time, with the Lord's mercy, we may be able to reach the dates of previous yugas. I know that you are aware of the yugas for in behalf of newcomers i will repeat here about it. Some time ago i wrote a 5 page article about it and here i give the beginning. **** According to Vedic tradition, Kali Yuga started on 18 February 3102 BC. Among all cultures the Vedic culture has both the longest and the shortest cycles of time to consider. At the heart of the longest count of time is the concept of Maha Yugas, which in Sanskrit means big or great (maha) and cycles, or great cycles of time (yugas). The four yugas named below make up one Maha Yuga: Satya yuga = 1,728,000 years. Treta yuga = 1,296,000 years. Dwapara yuga = 864,000 years. Kali yuga = 432,000 years. ____________ Total = 4,320,000 years. One Maha Yuga multiplied 1,000 times equals 12 hours of Lord Brahma, the architect of this universe. 4,320,000 X 1,000 = 4,320,000,000 years. During this time, the jivas (spiritual souls) have the chance to be active, alive or "awake" and life as we know it "appears" on this earth and on other planets in this part of the universe. For another 12 hours of Brahma, in what it is known as the night of Brahma, everything goes to "sleep" to awake again on the next day of Brahma. The 12 hours of Brahma's daylight day are divided into 14 Manvantaras or great periods of time. Each one of those 14 Manvantaras have 71 maha yugas. 4,320,000 years X 71 = 306,720,000 years. Preceding the first and following each manvantara period there is a juncture called sandhya, the length of a Satya yuga, which is 1,728,000 years. Therefore, there are 15 sandhyas within a manvantara. 1,728,000 X 15 = 25,920,000 years. Lord Brahma's life is 100 years of his time. This means that 12 of his hours = 4,320,000,000 years plus another 12 hours = 8,640,000,000 years or 24 hours of Brahma. 8,640,000,000 years X 30 days = 259,200,000,000 earth years or one month of Brahma. 259,200,000,000 X 12 months = 3,110,400,000,000 years or one year of Brahma. 3,110,400,000,000 X 100 years = 311,040,000,000,000 years on earth or Brahma's life. Life on earth "appears" during each one of Brahma's day and within each manvantara. And there is a partial destruction in the universe in each sandhya between manvantaras, and a total destruction at the end of Brahma's life. There is a period of total inactivity during each night of Brahma. According to Hindu tradition Lord Brahma is about 52 years old and we are now at the 28th yuga of the 7th manvantara of one of his days. Therefore if 6 manvantaras have passed 306,720,000 X 6 = 1,840,320,000 years. If 7 sandhyas have occurred within this manvantara 1,728,000 x 7 = 12,096,000 years. If 27 Maha yugas have passed 4,320,000 x 27 = 116,640,000 years. If we are in Kali yuga, three yugas have passed as follows: Satya yuga = 1,728,000 years. Treta yuga = 1,296,000 years. Dwapara yuga = 864,000 years. Total = 3,888,000 years. By the year 2001, 5,103 years will have passed within this present Kali yuga. Adding up we see : 6 Manvantaras = 1,840,320,000 years 7 sandhyas = 12,096,000 years 27 Maha-yugas = 116,640,000 years 3 yugas have passed = 3,888,000 years Years of present yuga = 5,103 years Total = 1,972,949,103 years since the beginning of the present day of Brahma which corresponds to the earliest forms of life found by modern sciences. Therefore, what is known at present as the beginning of life on earth is only the beginning of the present day of Brahma. If we take into consideration that the 12 hours of Brahma lasts for 4,320,000,000 earth years, which is a period of inactivity of life, we would expect a particular imprint on the geology of the earth. ** We know that Lord Ramachandra appeared in the Dwapara yuga, therefore we have to go back some 3 million years back to calculate His Divine horoscope. With our present capacity we do not have yet the potential to do so. Of course, we get a lot of information from the sacred scriptures about his horoscope, but not the exact details. I have the feeling that such missing data can be obtained from the Parampara or knowledge transmitted by disciplic succession, but that again is a very confidential matter and it is only given to astrologers-devotees, because non-astrologer devotees will not understand it. >From the Srimad Bhagavatam we learn that Lord Krishna was born at midnight during the 8th krishna tithi or the 8th day of the dark moon, with His Moon in Vrisaba (Taurus) and in the Rohini naksatra. And we hear that He has Taurus rising. Therefore, we can see that the sun must have been in the 4th house in Leo. We are told that Krishna was 125 years old when Kali Yuga started and therefore we can try to calculate His horoscope with that information. Regarding the horoscope of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, i did post in this list long time ago, about His chart. Srila Prabhupada quoted Bhaktivinode Thakura describing about His chart. All this information can be read in the Chaitanya Charitamrita. Unlike western devotees, many devotees in India can follow astrology very well, and most of them understand about janma lagna (rising sign), janma rasi (moon sign), janma naksatra (moon-naksatra) and many other vedic astrology considerations. Therefore, it is logical to conceive that Srila Prabhupada knew very well about his chart even if some speculators try to say the opposite. But any acharya knows well what he does because he knows exactly what his disciples can digest and what they cannot. I hope that these lines are useful. Further questions are welcome. My dandavats to all the Vaisnavas. Natabara Das
