Guest guest
Dear Cynthia I was always taught Ayurvedically that food must be palatable or it will not digest producing am . It is not Ayurvedic to eat foods you do not like quite the opposite in fact .. Sometimes we may be overly attracted to fried or sugary foods which can only be taken in small quantities while keeping optimium health but that it is a different thing . I am surprised that this Ayurvedic practitioner can misconstrue such basic points but in any field there are practitioners who are good, mediocre and hopeless . Hope this helps Nicholas > > Why does it seem that to be in balance ayurvedicly, one must go against the > natural tendencies of their nature? > > I had an ayur. assessment and was told that the very food that I am drawn to > is bad for me, and the food that actually upsets my stomach such as rice and > oatmeal are wonderful for me. > > What am I missing?
