Dear Carol

you<<My question to you is, does Krishna have a horoscope of His birth? (That

would indicate he has an end as well as a beginning!)>>

me

>From the relative vision or consideration, we may say that Krishna has a

beginning and an end. But the Lord does that as a pastime to fulfil a certain

pastime according to his Divine will.

>From the Srimad Bhagatam, we can read that Gargamuni (one of the 18 fathers of

Vedic astrology) calculated His Divine horoscope soon after He was born some

5,000 years ago, some 125 years before the beginning of the present Kali Yuga.

Because Mr Kali could not start his age of Kali, the age of quarrels, frictions

and hypocrisy, as long as the feet of the Lord were touching the earth, Krishna

arranged His departure from thos earthly realm.

However, the birth and death of Krishna should be considered like the sunrise

and sunset of the Sun. It is just an illusion that the Sun is born and dies

because the Sun is always there.

Lord Brahma, the architect of this particular universe, lives for 100 of his

years equivalent to 311,040,000,000 yeatrs on earth.

However, a life of Brahma is equivalent to about 1/5 of a second in Krishna's life.

As far as i know, nobody has beeen able to produce the horoscope of lord

Krishna, but we are trying to find it, and i am sure that one day somebody will

find it.

Some descriptions of His horoscope are given in the Srimad bhagavatam and in the Mahabharata.

Best wishes

Natabara Das
