mercury in Sagittarius lagna and aspected by his host Jupiter from

the house 5th (mantra, yantra, etc). Also Jupiter is in a Janma

naksatra and Mercury in a parama mitra naksatra. But due to the papa-

subha kartari to lagna, sometimes you may want to run before you

learn how to walk.

astrology like Saravali and others, but vedic astrology is written in

Sanskrit and therefore difficult to translate or understand, and we

have to follow certain keys and the mentality of those rishis.

the male principle, or in other words Time Personified. Of course,

you know all this things, i am only explaining on behalf of newcomers.

represents the influence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead". Of

course we know that people envious of the Supreme Person try to

translate in a way as to avoid His glories or holy name.

aware of it. I can see that its translation can be misleading . I

believe that Sarasvali was refering as Rahu representing the false

ego of the Kala Purusha.

jivas (souls) whom acquire a false ego due to their identification

with the material nature, Rahu here can be studied in Vedic

horoscopes to see the false ego of a person.

because the sun is the pure ego, the witness in this material

creation. Then the false ego or Rahu would tell us the

main "temptations, karma, or lessons" of the jiva to create a false

ego. This would be according to the houses and naksatras ruled by

Rahu and also his position (location) and aspects (in and out).
