Guest guest
Dear Maddalena, Liver is ruled by Guru and you undoubtedly know that. The controlling rashi is Simha which is the controlling sign for abadomen till hips and consequently the 5th house.. Standard Jyotish classics give a fine explanation of all rashis and organs ruled by them. However, there is one subtle matter concerning trines. Lagna is the controlling house for head and all organs up to the belly. 5th house is the controlling house for belly up to hips. and 9th house is the controlling house for legs up to feet. Normally all other houses rules are standard. Lagna-head, 2nd house face, 3rd house throut(lower) arms, etc, 4th house chest and heart etc.. Consequently, houses correspond to signs. Aries is head, Taurus is face, Gemini is lower throat, neck, arms, Cancer is chest and heart etc.. For liver disease look at the follwoing: -5th house and 5th sign(simha) -Guru position -Shani position(shani rules debilitation sign of Guru) -involvement of dusthanas, such as 8th/6th and 12th In a chart of Very Spiritual Teacher in Hare Krishna Movement who has been suffering from Hepathitis C for a long period, all the conditions are fulfilled: 1. Lord of 8th house is Shani (cancer lagna) ruling debilitation sign of guru, and is placed in 2nd house(maraka) in SIMHA yuti Surya (ruler of Simha) 2. Lord of 6th house is placed in5th house. Lord of 6th house is Guru (liver) and is in low Baal, so weak, and consequently gives disease. In guru mahadasha he fell ill. Shani mahadasha currently gives struggle with disease. In another chart with Hephatitis B, Guru is in 8th house, with Shani in debilitation who rules 6th house. 8th lord Mangal is in 12th house in SIMHA with Surya. So we have all conditions: 1. 5th house afflicted (shani rules and is placed in 8th house in neecha) 2. 5th sign is afflicted (leo) -holds 8th lord mangal with surya 3.Guru is in 8th house with neecha Shani, So all conditions are fullfilled You may additionally consult chandra who rules blood, and rules exaltation of Guru. So chandra is capable of strenghtening /weaking guru too. There are many other aspects to consult in medical Jyotish, such as strenght of Lagnesh and Lagna, special divisional charts, such as Trimsamsa chart, which rules the dark sides of life..(No wonder Surya as atma and Chandra as Manas-lights) get no rulership in Trimsamsa. Then one should examine lord of 22nd drekkana who is incidently lord of 8th house in Drekkana Chart(a matter to be thought about), and 64th navamsa from Chandra (lord of 4th house from Chandra in Navamsa-again a matter to be thought about)..
