Jyotish and tradition

Dear Jyotishas,

Today I have spoken to a friend who teaches TM in here, and he asked an

advice from his chart about the marriege or oritentation towards

Spiritual and bachelor life.

After a breif look at his chart, I noticed that 7th lord Mangal (thula

lagna) is in 6th house with Shani and Rahu. Mangal is further in Guru

rashi and Nakshatra, while Guru is Rx in 11th house and in 8th from

Chandra and Shukra. Rahu and Shani yuti were disasterous, particularly

since Rahu mahadasha is on, and Rahu is varghotam in MahaSandhi.Very

difficult situation indeed. Navamsa didn't promise much, since mangal is

placed in 12th house, while shukra is in 6th as lord of 7th. I thought

that marriege wouldn't fare well for him, which was also confiremed by

Taurus as upapada in 8th house aspceted by shani from 6th.So I thought

that Spiritual orientation would be much better. As I looked at 5th

house, there was not much promise either. Sun in 5th generally gives

less children, while in this chart it is Badhakesh which is still worse.

Shani is both rashi and navamsa of saturn which is very unfavourable for

progeny. Aspect of Guru is not helpful much, since guru is vakra, and is

placed in 8th house of navamsa, in addition to 6th house lord. Lord of

5th is placed in 6th which is very strong maraka for children, and is

with mangal and Rahu..Saptamsha had some promise, but rashi and navamsa

didn't do so..I told him what I think and he then told me something very

strange for me.. Some times back, he had his chart reading by Maharishi

Jyotish Pundit, who advised him against marriage, and told him that due

to such unfavourable surya in 5th house, he would not have children not

only in this birth, but in the following one.. I was surprised, since I

have never heard such statement...He even said that combination of thula

lagna and makara chandra as in his case, is not a promise for long life,

and that he should focus on spiritual aspect... Later on, I heard that

some other people were given highly accurate and interesting reading

with totally new information from the same Jyotishi, in spite of the

fact that he was only 30 years old..God knows, what this young Jyotishi

knew...that is the tradition of INDIA which we in the west must never

forget...
