Fwd: Doubts regarding current Dasa/Transits

Dear Visti & All,

An elderly Astrologer from Kenya,I had a conversation with recently,painted a

very grim picture of the dasa& transits I am passing through currently(Chart

Attached for Download).According to him the current Mercury

Mahadasa(Vimshottari) was not good as Mercury(In the nakshatra of Rahu) is

placed in the 6th house(Dusthana) with two malefics(Functional/Natural)--Mars &

Jupiter.Moreover, Mercury is debilitated in the Navamsa.To top it Saturn was

causing Sadasati,Jupiter was passing through Moon sign,&Rahu just moved into

lagna(It's Natal position--12th from Moon)forming a very bad yoga with Tansit

Saturn.According to him,the overall period was bad,but the period till July

when Saturn moves out of Taurus was especially adverse,More so since another 5

Planets will be joining this combination in Taurus in May.

2.I understood these things myself but my assessment was that since Saturn was a

YK for the lagna,& passing through friendly signs;and natal Rahu was exalted in

lagna aspected by lagna lord & placed in the nakshatra of Avayogi Moon, these

two would not give adverse results.Moreover, the dasa lord mercury was a YK for

the lagna& would also not give adverse results.

3.Apart from this,as per my calculations,Current Narayana dasa of 5th house

Virgo runs from 15-10-2001 to 15-10-2006 which,to my assessment,

is favourable,especially as, to me , the dasa Pravesh chart for 15-10-2001 also

appeared favourable.Moreover, the Dasamsa varga narayana dasa has

the 10th house dasa of Gemini running from 15-10-2000 to 15-10-2010.where the

Rasi is hemmed between Saturn& mars with rasi lord in 8th house(11th from dasa

rasi),but the dasa rasi has aspect of Debilitated 9th lord Venus& Argala of

GL,HL,Moon,Saturn and its lord mercury.My assessment, therefore was that there

may be a change in profession& New/better beginning.

3.I am ,however, now confused about which of the two assessments is

correct.Or,maybe,the reality lies somewhere in between.

4.I will be grateful for your considered views on the chart,so that this dilemma is resolved,Please.
