Cynthia,

As India is a parliamentary system, it's the PM. So Vajpayee is your man.

Speaking of which, does anybody have his data handy?

Thank you, Shailesh

What kind of man is he, in your opinion?

Is he wise, and rational?

I ask because the powerful planets from April through may trigger his Mercury strongly.

I am concerned that if he is not wise and rational that emotions will run hot

from experiences of betrayal.

I believe that the nakshatras tell the story of the coming times and all leaders

whose charts are [owerfully triggered will be like chessmen on the board of

destiny. I suspect that the consciousness of the people will direct the hand

as it is played out, and that the leaders are playing their roles. I think

that the outcome will be very positive in the long run and very difficult in

the short term.

I welcome other ideas and discussion. Thus far we have this man, S/ Hussein,

GWBush, VP Cheney, Colin Powell, Y. ARafat, A. Sharon, Sec. of Defense for US

Rumsfeld and Gen. Musharaff of Pakistan all intensely triggered by the lineup.

Dear Friends,

Maybe this will help. I have a copy of K. N. Rao's "Journal of

Astrology" dated January-March 2000. On page 13 in this issue are 2 charts

drawn for A. B. Vajpayee (Northern and Southern style charts). The birth

data for Mr. Vajpayee is written as follows:

A. B. Vajpayee

25 Dec. 1924

5:45:00

Gwalior.

An accompanying paragraph includes this information, "Became PM first time on

16/05/1996 to 01/06/1996 and again became PM after the general elections of

Feb-March 1998."

Note: The "Journal of Astrology" is published "In Association with the

Institute of Astrology, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi."

Best to all,

Carol

Dear Shailesh,

Thank you for the link to PM Vaypayee's chart by Sanjay. He uses 5.03 am

Dec 25 1926 (I think we're at least getting the year right now :-)) but

doesn't indicate the source for the time. He does admit that there are 3

different times for him so far. I have to wonder about this time a bit

because Sanjay makes a prediction that he would retire in 2001. Not that a

wrong prediction means wrong data, but it does weaken one's confidence in it.

I must amend my reference to Vajpayee's birth data; the issue of journal of

Astrology was the 2001 issue, not the year 2000 issue, with all other references

and quotes I made, being the same.

K.N. Rao also thought Vajpayee would retire in 2001. There is a need for

careful study of how the leader of a country, much like the father of a family,

may alter his natural life course due to influence of the group of people he is

leading.

Perhaps India's horoscope meshed with Vajpayee's would show the influence

of India's horoscope affecting it's leader's destiny, and vice versa, for a

better understanding of why he did not retire. He looked somewhat weary when I

saw him on TV late last year. His dedication to India probably overrides his

concern for himself.

Vajpayee's lifetime accomplishments are very impressive. Thanks to Sanjay

for writing a fascinating article.

Dear Chris,

We still do not have the 'correct' year.

The official website of Indian Parliamentarians, which I forwarded to the list,

gives the year as 1924.

Check for his correct chart in the books of Shri K.N.

Rao. He uses the chart which PM, Vajpayee's family

uses and which is also given in Prime Minister's

Autobiography.

The period beginning 2nd March, 2002 onwards for A.B.

Vajpayee is going to be a tough one and already

symptoms are visible. The period beginning 7th April,

2002 is going to be even tougher.

Dear All

Could someone tell me if you find him to be wise and rational? If his lagna

is indeed Jyeshta, I have seen this nak. to be either very wise and learned

from life experiences or filled with pain from life's experiences of

betrayal. Could anyone give a perspective on this?
