I got a request regarding the information of the web site from where we can

download Srila Prabhupada's "Raja Vidya, The King of knowledge".

 

I would like that info either here or in private.

 

Unlike some astrologers that may think that vedic astrology is restricted to

only vedic astrology books, and therefore the ideal would be to be on a list

restricted only to practitioners of vedic astrology, i am pro a more wider view

of vedic astrology which permeates a wide range of subject matters.

 

Vedic astrology can be connected to many subject matters and therefore its implications are vast.

 

Here, any book dealing with the vedic thought is very helpful to our character

building and appreciation of the vedic culture.

 

We forget sometimes that western astrology had its roots in vedic astrology long

ago. But somehow due to some western leaders, the science was cut from eastern

ideas and influence. In this way the science suffered persecution,

manipulation, distortion, supression and control by those "above".

 

At one point, western astrology was allowed to "be" under the condition that

"does not deal with predictions". According to "them" (and by "them" i mean

"them" and not what some people may think), predictions are coming from satan

and therefore should not be considered.

 

Vedic astrolopy on the other side, suffered not much and was encouraged and practised meanwhile.
