Guest guest
Dear Sanjay Prabhu Hare Krishna <<Where did you read that about the dwadasamsa? I shall be grateful for the source. The dwadasamsa can indicate genetic traits and disorders as this is for inheritance. In any case it is also called the SURYA-AMSA.>> Many thanks for your attention to that information. I really should have said that although i have heard that the dwadasamsa shows epidemic illnesses, i could not verify the source of the information and i did not have the time either to study or research about it. I heard about it from a friend vedic astrologer while i was visiting Amsterdam in 1992. At that time i told him that i have never heard about it and that i whised more information like about the source or/and examples. He told me that he was going to do so but somehow i have lost contact with him. If destiny wills, next time i meet him i will request for that info. Sometimes it happens that a student misunderstands the teachings and therefore we get misinformation. Other times, the student wants to "discover" a new rule and "finds" that rule working. In this way, if we are not careful we may end with a concocted soup and the original rules just disappear. It is already happening and we have to be careful. <<The dwadasamsa can indicate genetic traits and disorders as this is for inheritance. In any case it is also called the SURYA-AMSA.>> Thank you for this information as well. So far i knew it to be for parents. By Surya-amsa means to me a lot. Now that you have mentioned inheritance, i remember that my friend also told me that the dwadasamsa refers as well to previous lives. He may well confounded parental inheritance gene wise with previous life. In any way i have not done much reaserch yet about the sodasavargas due to a lack of time but i know it to be promising and a future generation may come forward with relevant evidence about it. Guest guest
om gurave namah------------------------Dear Natabara Prabhu, You friend seems to be very wise but has no filled you completely. The Dwadasamsa chart is also used for past life but ONLY in the conception chart as taught clearly by Jaimini. In fact the Venus position in Dwadasamsa in the conception chart shall give the physical body type that the native was having - animal or human and type of animal etc. these details are guarded secrets as they can cause a lot of hurt to people, but then we should remember that even Indra the King of Swarga incarnated as a pig and was most unwilling to give up that body!!! I agree fully about your - to be careful. that is why I ask for the source as i have my sources well documented and am very careful in this regard as mis-teaching can lead to a lot of sin. thank you so much for sharing - With best wishesSanjay RathWeb: http://sanjayrath.tripod.comServices: http://sanjayrath.tripod.com/zservices.htmJyotish Digest: http://jyotishdigest.com/SJVC: http://www.sjvc.org/ - natabara GJlist Friday, February 15, 2002 3:08 PM [GJ] Chakras Dear Sanjay Prabhu Hare Krishna <<Where did you read that about the dwadasamsa?
