Earth Ride- Come Test Your Patience

I've often said that through Venus we come to Saturn and through Saturn

we come to Venus.

This means, through lush living and attempting to enjoy on a constant

basis (Venus), one comes to so much trouble and problems (Saturn).

Heroin is the most pleasurable thing- it creates a peace, bliss,

painlessness on every level. It destroys the bodies ability to fight

pain, so, if you ever stop it, your body has to adjust. It's very

painful. Junkies, in trying to "remove the pain of life" simply create

more pain for themselves. This is going through Venus to Saturn.

Those who work hard, control their senses, and thus hold back, wait, are

patient, for the gratification, they, accepting Saturn, eventually come

to real pleasure, real Venus.

Coal, hard, black and nearly worthless, under preassure over long time,

becomes diamond. Saturn to Venus. Black becomes rainbow, due to

preassure and stress, and time.

That beauty, that Diamond, is beautiful, but it's real beauty. It's made

so hard (by Saturn's weight) that it is practically indestructible, and

can be used therefore as a blade to cut most other things.

So, that which is made beautiful by Saturn, can never be destroyed.

That which is made beautiful by cheap version of Venus, washes off in

the rain, like Mascara on the eyes (kajal).

The fleating beauty of youth is not permanent, therefore is not the real

kind of Venus, the real pleasure. The real pleasure is lasting,

beautiful, permanent.

That pleasure based on substances or items outside oneself, must

constantly be used and replenished, causing so much labor.

That pleasure which comes from within is obtained usually by doing less,

not more, leaving more physical time for pleasurable things directly,

rather than chasing money to procure the needed substances required to

induce aritificial pleasure.

On Earth, it's all about Sreyas and Preyas, (Shray-us/Pray-us), or long

term gratification and short term gratification.

We should work towards long term, or rather, that is where we find

lasting pleasure that doesn't bring on a ton of unnecessary, unwanted

difficulty into our lives (Saturn).

When we do everything for short term gains, we are stressed, we are

fearful, we are not on solid ground, and generally due to lack of

planning and proper abstract long term thinking, our lives fall apart

gradually, and Saturn gets ahold of us, in forms of stupidity, poverty,

prison, disease, etc.

So the wise invite proper amounts of austerity or hard work and struggle

into their lives, while the foolish avoid the austerity required to

properly maintain their positions materially, and so they go down, while

thinking they are having a "good time".

Those who are on the spiritual path are necessarily working on this

issue or have mastered it (rare). To truly control one senses is

difficult, but it is possible, by replacing lower tastes with higher

tastes, or lower octaves of our placements with higher ones.

The smart join those who willfully do a little suffering, hold back

their senses willfully a bit more and more all the time, training to be

like a turtle who can withdraw and extend his working senses at will,

not that he is out of control, controlled by something else...

No...the real yogi, or spiritualist, is seeking to find themselves only

in their consciousness, and see the body and all other matter around

their consciousness as that field which the witness (you) are trying to

become one with in unison, harmony, flow, yoga, because it comes from

the divine center, and so by flowing here, you naturally catch the wave

pointing back towards the center.

Figure out from which direction the current around you is flowing, and

turn that way. You are then facing the divine center where "God" lives.

That is Yoga in all forms, or the sum total of Yoga. Jyotish is a part

of the Yoga of the mind and intellect. It is to show us the way in which

divinity is omnipresent, and the breakdown of the energies employed in

raising the witnesses to higher states.

Because being raised is the aim, therefore struggle is the means,

austerity the technique, Veda the guide, and Jyotish the proof. This is

the truth about life, but most do not wish to admit this, even if shown

it. But those who study the modern Vedic path fully enough, will not be

able to deny these conclusions.

You are far along if you practice sense control, focusing the mind and

actions etc on the Divine, basically making the aim of your life, not

enjoying the most here, but becoming better and better at handling

eternal life.
