Guest guest
dear gjlist memmbers: I am submitting a date , october 4th 1945 at 4:55pm in youngstown ohio which on his chart shows 4 planets in the 8th, 5 if you count the outer planets. His rising sign is aquarius and he has saturn in the 6th house. He also has venus in the 7th in leo and rahu and mars in the 5th in gemini and ketu in the 11th in sag. My question is, in my limited knowledge of joytish it seems this person should have a difficult life since 5 of his planets our in either the 6th or the 8th house. Also mars is with rahu which from what i have read, isnt the best combination. Yet he seems to have led a charmed life.He has always had the wisdom to be able to pay his own way by menial jobs and giving readings to clients by using the tarot ,numerology, astrology palmistry or the i ching. He has a college degree in psychology. He was born into a good middle class family, not wanting for much although he is more spiritualistic than materialistic. He is very relegious in that he studies all the doctrines and practices and teaches yoga and meditation to others and chants differant mantras on a daily basis himself. He is a very positive, happy , family oriented person. He has one sister who is a councelor and a very positive person in his life. His mother just died at the age of 82 last year and his father just turned 86 last year and is in great health. The only down side to his life is that he has had 6 major relationships in his life. Two ended in divorce because his mates were materialiatic in nature and wanted more out of life than meditating and getting closer to god . He lost his son for 5 years when his second wife filed for divorce. This upset him greatly since his son was his whole life. His son wanted to be with him but his mother took him and left town. This person than joined a group called fathers for equal rights and within 5 years ,he and the group members fought to change the terrible custody laws that were on the books at that time. They succeeded in their efforts and made joint custody a reality, and changed the law whare the child can choose to be with the parent he wanted, at any age. He than got custody of his child. and has had him for the last 10 years. His son is 21 years now and doesnt drink or smoke or do drugs and is basicly like his father. He is in his third year of college majoring in computer science. The person who this letter is about, grew up in the 1960s when drugs and liberal minded living were encouraged. This period never influenced him since he never drank or experimented with drugs. He was always interested in a healthful way of life.He has been a vegitarian since the age of 20.My question to the list readers is that most of his planets are in, according to joytish, terrible houses. When we look at a chart we look for strength in the most important items in our life such as family, children, job, relationships, money, general happiness, spirituality. The only downside in his chart seems to be problems in relationships and children. And as far as children are concerned, he only lost his son for 5 years. He is now in the 5th year of a posstive relationship with a girl who is more like him, spiritual rather than materialiatic. At 56 he is in excellant health, jogging 2 to three miles a day plus yoga and mantras. What in his chart would justify all these positive things happening to him when most of his planet are in dusthana houses. He says he has lived a charmed life. He is currently in a saturn dasa which will than turn into a mercury dasa in about 10 years. .. thank you rog li Great stuff seeking new owners in Auctions! http://auctions. Guest guest
Dear Miralia This is what we would expect. I will tell you that I have also found that this type of chart pattern can yield widely differing results. What I find is that when the "enlightenment" houses are dominant the native must in some manner give his life over to god. That usually means that he detach from materialism and find a way to trust the flow of life. This seems to be exactly what your friend has done. Instead of looking at these houses as Dusthanas or evil houses try using enlightenment instead. Rarely do we seek enlightenment when all is going well, so certainly the difficulty associated with them and the karmas of his early life may not be known to you. Also, I find that Mars with Rahu is very favorable. sometimes it all depends upon the perspective of the astrologer, not the limitations of the chart. cynthia - miralia roger <r_miralia <gjlist> Thursday, January 31, 2002 4:06 PM [GJ] evil houses > dear gjlist memmbers: I am submitting a date , > october 4th 1945 at 4:55pm in youngstown ohio which on > his chart shows 4 planets in the 8th, 5 if you count > the outer planets. His rising sign is aquarius and he > has saturn in the 6th house.
