Guest guest
Hello friends, There is no doubt that God is everywhere in the whole universe system! From my personal point of view, I believe that Temple is a place built in such a special shape that when you go inside and make pray, the centerlized energy enhances your concenteration and peace towards positivity, faith. Secondly, the Murtis (God/Godess Idols) are not just placed in temple on it's own, those are merged with on the earth, after doing PRAN PRATISHTHA PUJA/MANTRA, which means particular God/Godess are invoked by Puja & Chanting, to be forever inside of the Murti (i.e. that god/godess stay alive inside of that murti). Third, the atmosphere inside and around the temple is holy, clean and peaceful, so our mind becomes pieceful and thoughts clear and positive. When temples built inside home even after doing such rituals and pooja, one can't get the satisfaction as you get in the temple outside. Well it's not purely authentic, but is what I believe! Om... Guest guest
Hello, I was born in Delhi, India but at present living in London. Several years back I was in Delhi and I was going to come back to London and I was feeling very low. Those days I was staying in Darya Ganj and few days before my departure to London I went to Chandni Chowk in a four seater. Those of you who are familiar with Delhi and Chandni Chowk Bazaar know that there is a famous temple of Divine Loving Lord after the Jain Red Temple. As my vehicle turned the corner of red temple and came in front of Main Temple I felt quite angry. I started thinking that I am not going to to a Temple anymore. There were other people sitting in the four seater as well and immediately one started to say to his companion that since he stopped coming to Temple his life has gone down. His companion said, nothing to worry, we will go this evening. I could not believe it I kept looking at those man. Divine Lord made those people say this for my sake.HE was calling me to HIS HOME. I wanted to talk to those men but became tongue tied. No need to say I dropped my depressed idea. Take care. Guest guest
namaskaram to all, In life, we need to prepare when we wish to achieve something. Going to temples is a part of that preparation. IN temples there are no idols ..this is very true. what we have there is " THE GOD INVOKED IN TO " But then when we say preparation is something like going to primary class, it means this is the beginning of a journey to finally understand " what or who am "I"....which comes in the last part - ie VEDANTA. and if and when one is able to understand what or who am "I" - AHAM BRAHMASMI in this birth or in any birth, then that is the time one resloves .. we do not know when that happens and after one goes to temples, be a party to the SATSANG, becomes interested in knowing more about veda, Karma etc... then become a Karma yogi which will some time initiate him to Jnana Yoga.. this if we can visualise then we can see the similarity . the only difference is one moves from Primary to secondary to Higher secondary to under graduation to post graduation to R and D to etc in shorter periods...a few years while the process of knowing the " I " may take a lot more time.... interestingly, it is worth looking at how VYVAHARIKA and PRATHI BHASIKA AND PARAMARTHIKA are related ??? would love to have the comments / views PRANAMS Vijay Nathji <vrinvaranasi (AT) (DOT) co.uk> wrote: Hello, Personally I do not think that going to a temple is like going to a primary class. In fact it is primary, secondary and college and PhD with no ending. Is there is end to knowledge??? Is there a end to our relationship with our Beloved???
