Canada's chart

Hello Friends,

 

Just to add a little bit to my previous posts on the upcoming events, I

took a look at the chart for Canada, my home and native land. What's

interesting here is that some of the affliction I saw in the US

inauguration chart, India's chart, and the Tokyo stock exchange chart is

found here also and suggests a worldwide economic problem at this time.

 

The chart for Canada (Jul 1 1867 12.05 pm LMT Ottawa 45n25 75w42) has

16Vi04 rising with lagnesh Mercury is the happy position in the unafflicted

11th house in mutual reception with 10H Moon. Generally, a good natal

framework. But the familiar pattern of affliction involves the 2H ruled by

Venus 24Ta26. This is being opposed by transiting Pluto 23Scorpio. It is

also worth noting that the navamsha Asc is tightly conjuct this rashi Venus

also at 24Ta26 and is therefore also subject to Pluto's destructive ways.

This Venus-nav asc conjunction has no doubt helped Canada become a

prosperous place over the years, but I think this emphasizes the

potentially transformative role of this coming Pluto transit all the more.

 

Using tertiary progressions, the progressed MC 20Ta47 is exactly conjunct

progressed Rahu 20Ta26 while progressed Asc 23Le54 is in near exact square

with 2L Venus 24Ta26. This isn't necessarily a "bad" configuration until

you start to realize the other influences. Transiting Saturn is also

conjuncting that Venus in the 9th house. Also note that the lunar eclipse

of Dec 30 at 14Gemini is exactly conjunct the 11th lord Moon 14Ge36

suggesting reversals or interruptions of 11th house matters such as gains

and income.

 

Canada is running Jupiter-Ketu at the moment and this isn't very

auspicious: both Jupiter and Ketu sit in the 6th and are afflicted by Mars'

aspect from the house of loss, the 12th. Ketu is in Jupiter's nakshatra

and Jupiter itself is in Rahu's nakshatra. Rahu sits in the 12th afflicted

by Mars. Tr. Saturn is also casting its 10H aspect to this Jupiter within

a couple of degrees and casts its 3H aspect to lagnesh Mercury within a

couple of degrees going the other way. All in all, not a good chart for

the present time.

 

And back onto transiting Mars as the trigger here. Canada's lagna is

16Virgo which would put Mars there on Feb 1 -- not far off that early

February date I had wondered about for the Tokyo exchange but a bit late

for the US chart. OTOH, the part of fortune is at 13Vi15 -- which Mars

exactly conjuncts Monday the 28th.
